Welcome to the recap for The Valley Season 2 Episode 16. The last episode was the culmination of all things un-Zen. Zack lost his marbles when confronting Janet. And it is safe to say that friendship has sailed. Nia and Danny walked away friendless but with their heads held high. This week on Part 1 of the reunion, emotions collide as Brittany finally gets a few things off her chest. So here’s exactly what happened in “The Valley Season 2 Episode 16 Reunion Part One.”

Jax isn’t wearing any merch

We joke, but it’s nice to see the OG villain sporting something other than a Jax’s Studio City sweatshirt. The reunion begins with the spotlight on the former couple, who are expected to finalize their divorce any day now. Interestingly enough, Brittany tells the group Jax phoned her due to his concern with his place on the show. As we now know, Jax has since *decided* to part ways with The Valley. Jax quickly shows his true colors as Brittany notes, “I’m already shaking.” To which he replies, “You should.”

The bantering just gets ugly as Jax jokes he wants to hold hands with Danny and get a vasectomy. Without missing a beat, B claps back, “He’ll have 20 baby-mommas if he doesn’t. Yikes and gross. Andy then dares to ask if Jax uses condoms, to which fans learns “not really” is an answer. Honestly, I have to side with Brittany on this; he’s a bit disgusting. And the mother of one makes sure to put him in his place as she tells him, “I wouldn’t touch that dirty d*ck with a ten-inch pole.” We got the message and the visual.

Jesse has his lawyer on speed dial

After the mine field that is Jax and Brittany’s divorce, the host pivots to Jesse and Michelle. The realtor claims that all Michelle wanted to do was win, but she quips, “There’s never ever winning with you.” According to Michelle, it wasn’t one specific thing that made her file for divorce, but she did note that he “always put her down and diminished” her. Not to be left out in the cold, Jesse flanked her, complaining, sharing that his soon-to-be ex-wife “weaponizes Isabella.”

As far as the divorce fans learned that they have a custody agreement, but the settlement is taking a bit longer. Even though it should be a clean divorce, the issue seems to be that Jesse got angry that Michelle “spent money during the marriage” and wanted her to pay it back. Now, I’m no lawyer, but that argument seems like it is already on shaky ground. Jesse had a chat with his lawyer, aka himself, and it looks like Michelle is still in for a long fight.

RIP boys chat

The origin of the boys’ chat started at Schwartz’s wedding all the way back in 2016. The topics are unsavory and what one might expect out of a group chat that had Jax in it. According to Kristen and B, the group chat consisted of “strippers’ vaginas” and them “degrading women 24/7.” It’s no wonder that most of the members are single. Currently, only Jesse and Jax are still in the chat. Sadly, Danny was kicked to the curb by Jax after he spilled the escort rumors to Michelle. Brittany had the most insight, claiming Jax “didn’t like Jesse” and would show all his texts to her, including photos of naked women—pure locker room talk.

The moment comes when Brittant finally opens up about Jax throwing the coffee table at her. There was so much more to the fight as B shared, “He threw my Stanley Cup and broke it. He threw my phone and broke it. He threw my laptop and broke it. He threw me into the rose bushes.” To make matters worse, he allegedly called her a “tree trunk” for having stretch marks. There’s no coming back, Jax.

The reunion ends with Jax’s tail between his legs. However, Jax still finds it hard to admit he had a drug and alcohol problem, even amid all the stuff he was doing to Brittany. But now Jax has been sober for 156 days at the time of taping. Jax has put everything out there, and finally, it’s caught up with him.

The Valley is available to stream on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
