Summer House’s Carl Radke Reveals Real First Name

Forget everything you learned about Carl Radke during the last nine seasons on Summer House. The person who wooed Lindsay Hubbard and then broke up with her on camera has been called Carl his entire life. But the Soft Bar + Cafe owner has a different first name, as per his documentation.

It’s interesting that he is making the admission now. After a decade as a reality TV star, it is curious why this information has not come out yet. But the Bravolebrity explained the situation in a recent TikTok video.

“My middle name is Carl. We always, for whatever reason, as a family went by [our] middle names. My brother even went by his middle name, but on my ID and my passport, my first name is William,” he explained in a TikTok video shared by Popviewers.

In the August 8 video post, Carl referenced his late brother, Curtis, who tragically passed away in 2020. The Summer House star admitted that he “always” has been called by his middle name.

The former Loverboy VP of Sales added, “since Day 1, [I] have been called Carl. It’s a family thing. My mom has a different explanation for it, which I don’t understand. Yeah, my full name is William Carl.”

Carl, or William, made a career as a cast member on Summer House. He shared it all on camera. His sobriety journey, the ill-fated engagement with Lindsay, and the financial risks he took on to open Soft Bar. But he is only now revealing his real name.

Season 10 of the hit reality TV show is currently filming. Carl confirmed his return, alongsid ex-fiance Lindsay. The two managed to cordially work together already post-break up. Will she or any other cast members call him William?
