Andy Cohen’s Off-Camera Comments to Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright Revealed

The Valley Season 2 was not so much a show about young married friends supporting each other. It was more of a battlefield of animosity, angry arguments, backstabbing and bickering. At the reunion, even Executive Producer Andy Cohen knew they could use some divine intervention.

So before jumping into more yelling and arguing, Andy had a request he hoped would bring some peace to the group, especially to estranged couple Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright.

“Will you lead us in a prayer, Brittany, later?” Andy asked during a filming break for glam touchups during Part 3 of the reunion. “Sure,” Brittany replied, laughing.

Before cameras picked up, Andy also complimented Britt on her beautiful, long hair. “Your hair looks great. Very pretty,” he told her. “Your hair looks good too, Jax.”

“I’m not happy with it, but it’s okay,” Jax responded. Is Jax ever happy with anything?

When Janet Caperna joined into their conversation, she joked, “Zack might be able to introduce you to a good wig guy.” Rumors about friend of the cast Zack Wickham’s thick, dark hair persist, although he’s repeatedly denied wearing a hairpiece.

Once filming began, Andy asked Jax about his “headspace” after the contentious reunion.

“My main objective here was just obviously to talk to Brittany and just to move forward,” Jax admitted. “[To] be peaceful to each other and be amazing co-parents to our son.” But he knows he’s got a long, hard road ahead of him if he’s ever going to earn Brittany’s forgiveness for his abusive behavior.

“I know I’ve done a lot, and I’m hoping that she can forgive me one day,” he said. “I’m not saying today. We have to be in each other’s lives for a long time, and I think I’ve done a lot … I just hope she can find it in her heart to forgive me one of these days.”

But then Andy asked Britt if she felt the reunion had been a “a good start” towards eventually forgiving Jax.

“I don’t know,” she confessed. “It’s hard. It’s going to take a lot for him to prove to me that he’s actually changing. And I’m sorry, but that’s just the truth.”

The Valley is now streaming on Peacock in the US and on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
