Is it finally time for Gina Kirschenheiter and Travis Mullen to take their relationship to the next level? The Real Housewives of Orange County star recently teased that they’re inching their way closer to that long-awaited engagement.
If you’ve been following their story on RHOC, then you know how Travis’s volatile relationship with his ex-wife caused tension in his relationship with Gina. Those issues are still lingering, but Gina said things are starting to look up.

Gina recently spoke to Bravo’s The Daily Dish about her current dynamic with Travis. As we’ve seen on RHOC, they moved back in together, along with their army of six kids. They also have their real estate company together. The next step is marriage, right?
“I’m like we have six kids and a life together, and a business together,” Gina noted. “Like, if there was some other word we could come up with … You know, he needs a promotion.”
Although Gina claimed she isn’t “thirsty for a ring,” she admitted that she “wouldn’t mind one.” She previously felt hesitant about Travis and his complicated co-parenting situation, but that’s no longer the case. Things have either improved, or she’s just gotten used to the chaos.
“Honestly, I think that the thing was … There was just so much going on there,” Gina explained. “I didn’t feel like I knew whether I wanted to commit, overall, to this situation … what comes with Travis. And now that I feel so deeply committed to that and more stable, and I think like we’re finally in a place where we could even possibly entertain something like that …”
With that said, Gina reiterated that the ball is in Travis’s court. She sure as hell isn’t going to be getting down on one knee, but if Travis asks, she’s going to say yes. If/when that happens, Gina dropped a few hints about the type of ring she’s hoping to see.
“I honestly would just like a nice big round stone, like, nothing busy,” she teased. “I feel like [in] my first marriage, my ring was very busy. And I just feel like I’m a different person now, so I just would want something very simple, classic, timeless, but not small. I mean, yeah, come on.”
