Much of Season 19 of The Real Housewives of Orange County has revolved around Katie Ginella. The sophomore housewife recorded Shannon Beador last season without her knowledge. Then, Katie apparently shared a salacious story with blogger Kiki Monique. Katie claimed that Gretchen Rossi told her that she went to the hospital the night of Tamra Judge’s “naked wasted” party because she had been drugged. While Katie denied peddling this story, Kiki confirmed it.
So, when Emily Simpson hosted a Persian New Year party, it came complete with two experts to administer lie detector tests. However, all may not be as it seems.

In a sneak peek of Season 19 Episode 9, Gretchen and Emily discussed the results of the party. Namely, how Emily told Katie to leave after she flunked every question. “So, after my Persian New Year party, I’m hoping that Katie’s gone,” Emily said. Gretchen chimed in, “Yeah. I mean, as far as I’m concerned, I’m not … I’m not going to be around if she’s around.”
Next up, Katie met Jennifer Pedranti for coffee. And Katie had receipts. “So, that guy that they hired? You know, he’s a paid actor. This is all on his website,” Katie said, showing Jenn some printed pages. “So, I think I was f*cking set up by Gina [Kirschenheiter] and Emily.”
In her confessional, Katie said, “Jenn doesn’t want to play this game,” referencing the “roofie” allegations. “She doesn’t want to say Gretchen said it for some reason, but she heard it and so did Ryan [Boyajian], multiple times.” Meanwhile, Jenn made a decision about her friend. “Katie lied to me the whole time, and that doesn’t work for me,” Jenn said in her confessional.
