Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City featured tons of drama. Lisa Barlow and her co-star, Angie Katsanevas, engaged in a messy feud. During the Season 5 finale, Whitney Rose read a mean text about Lisa as part of an exercise to help the cast members move on. You can imagine how well that worked out.
Whitney alleged that Lisa and her husband were involved in a threesome. Then, Lisa pulled up an old rumor about Angie’s husband, Shawn Trujillo. In the past, there were rumors about Shawn having gay affairs, which both he and Angie denied. So, Angie was not pleased.
Lisa Barlow doesn’t want a “copy” RHOSLC cast member in Angie Katsanevas
According to the Season 6 RHOSLC trailer, it looks like Angie and Lisa’s feud will get even hotter. It appears that Angie is spreading a rumor about Lisa’s finances tanking.
Fans know that Lisa is not only the “Queen of Sundance,” but the queen of Vida Tequila. In fact, Lisa scored a legal victory when William M. McGeary’s lawsuit was dismissed. William claimed that he loaned Lisa and her husband, John Barlow, $400,000 to help bail out Vida Tequila. However, Lisa allegedly never paid back the funds.
Recently, Lisa took a swipe at Angie’s newest venture. Angie launched her own liquor brand, Codigo Tequila. She shared a carousel of photos via Instagram showcasing the booze, and captioned it, “For tequila as smooth as my shade … I take Codigo Everywhere I Go.”
Well, Bravosnarkside reposted Angie’s post, with the caption, “Angie Katsanevas launches Tequila brand, and Lisa Barlow says ‘she would hate always being a copy.'” And Lisa’s shady comment was written across the first slide. “I would f*cking hate always being a copy #original,” she wrote. Now that these ladies are competing in the same business space, the Season 6 drama is going to be fiery!
Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City premieres on September 16 at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
