RHOA’s Porsha Williams Demands Simon Guobadia Pay up After Deportation

Their divorce might be finalized, but the drama is far from over. Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams is still battling her ex-husband, Simon Guobadia, in court. According to Porsha, Simon hasn’t paid her a dime in the months following their divorce. She thinks he’s being intentional about withholding her payments.

Porsha and Simon finalized their divorce back in June after a lengthy fight over enforcing their prenuptial agreement. It all happened right around the time the United States deported him to his home country of Nigeria.

Immediately after the ruling came in, Simon vowed to appeal the decision. He believes Porsha misled him about her finances at the time of their prenup. He said that her RHOA paycheck should nullify the agreement.

In the meantime, Porsha and her legal team want Simon to cough up a six-figure sum, and they want the courts’ help. In new legal documents reviewed by the Daily Mail, she asked a judge to hold him in contempt for not paying.

The paperwork revealed that Porsha wants a sum of $667,359.55. This figure consists of payments that were set by their prenuptial agreement. It includes alimony payments. attorney’s fees, marital residence expenses, and property taxes. As a way to make amends, she suggested that he forfeit his equity in their marital home.

As a reminder, Porsha won possession of their home in the divorce. However, she must refinance her mortgage within the next 36 months to remove himself from the title. Otherwise, she’ll need to sell the home altogether. She’ll need to pay him half of the equity.

In the court docs, Porsha said his failure to pay the alimony, taxes, and other items seemed like “a knowing, intentional, and ongoing disregard for this Court’s authority and the Final Judgment it issued.” The fact that Simon is in court right now fighting to have their divorce appealed probably helps her argument, but a judge has yet to rule on any of this.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is streaming on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
