Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Lisa Barlow made a statement in the first episode of the new season. Lisa opted out of going on the cast trip. But why? The cast spent the majority of Season 6 Episode 1 trying to figure out why Lisa didn’t show. They rightfully knew that Lisa never missed an opportunity for camera time. So, what was the real reason why Lisa didn’t film with the cast?
Lisa Barlow claimed she didn’t attend the cast trip because she was with Blake Lively and Ben Affleck
Rumors had been swirling for quite some time regarding whether or not Lisa was returning to RHOSLC. Possible contract negotiations, dealing with lawsuits, and removing RHOSLC from her Instagram bio fueled them. However, fans soon saw pictures of Lisa filming with her husband, John Barlow.
But Lisa did not appear in the majority of the first episode of the new season. While the cast waited to get picked up for their trip, Lisa was a no-show. Heather Gay asked Angie Kastanevas why Lisa wasn’t there.
Angie explained, “She was kind of not very clear. She said she had some work going on, so she was going to go out of town.” But she left out the additional information Lisa had mentioned via a FaceTime call.
Lisa had told Angie, “I don’t want to spend the night with Bronwyn [Newport]. She’s a pathological liar. She can’t tell the truth to save her life. It’s like, disgusting.”
Angie asked, “Not even for one day?” Lisa ignored her question and said, “Also, I have a work thing. It’s like, a big deal. I think what people forget is I have a very full life. Because I keep it kinda private. And like, I’m not gonna drop names, but like, I’ll be with Ben [Affleck] and Blake [Lively].” Lisa added, “I’ll be with Ben Affleck and you’ll be with Bronwyn.”
