Davis Mallory shared some big news about his personal life. The Challenge star took to social media to announce that he is no longer gay. This was quite a shock, as Davis has been open about being gay for some time now. However, Davis had a change of heart regarding his sexuality. The reality competition star explained why and even answered a question or two from fans on the matter.
The Challenge alum Davis Mallory says God turned him from gay to straight
Davis has a number of reality TV shows under his belt. Most notably, he was on The Challenge, The Inferno 3, and Rivals. Which can literally be quite challenging. Or as The Challenge star Wes Bergmann said, the experience was like checking “into prison for three months.” And who knows, maybe Davis will even appear in the upcoming X Games spinoff too.
Early on in his reality TV career, The U.S. Sun reported that Davis was quite vocal about being gay. But now Davis feels differently. He took to Instagram to share an update that his faith influenced him to turn from being gay to straight. Davis asked fans, “This morning’s revelation…let me know your thoughts?”
He wrote, “I feel like God gave me this vision that us being righteous and following the law is his perfect plan for us. Sinning in anyway is not his plan for us and is not us honoring his design for how he made us.”
Davis continued, “He did not design us to sin, and when we live a life of sin, we are not just dishonoring God, but we are doing a disservice to ourselves and our character.”
A fan asked, “Do you still consider yourself gay?” Davis gave a cryptic reply, “What does it mean to be gay?” After some back and forth and Davis dodging questions, a fan took a more direct approach.
They asked, “Are you sexually attracted to men? And do you have sex with men?” Davis put any rumors to rest. He wrote, “To answer your question directly then NO & NO.”
