We all know Sonja Morgan “partied with John John Kennedy and Madonna all the time.” Still, she left fans extremely confused with her latest Instagram post. The Real Housewives of New York star shared an AI-generated photo showing her brushing shoulders with Madge, and the comments under the post are absolutely hilarious.

Sonja or one of her interns clearly has a free trial to some AI software, because the RHONY star uploaded a photo showing a computer-generated version of herself posing with the queen of pop. If you were scrolling fast through your Instagram feed, you might have almost thought this was the real deal.
“I partied with Madonna all the time,” Sonja wrote in the caption, which was probably also generated by AI.
“[The Palladium], which every Sunday catered to an almost all gay audience. Owned and operated by the former Studio 54 masterminds Ian Shrager and Steve Rubell,” she continued.
The RHONY star went on to reminisce on the legendary NYC venue. Sonja said she spent plenty of wild nights there in the 1980s, before eventually retiring from clubbing because. She said “it just wasn’t fun anymore.”
Sonja continued, “From its celebrity-studded opening in May 1985, through the end of the 1980s, it was one of the major features on a vibrant New York club scene PERIOD!”
In the comments, Sonja got love from plenty of people celebrating her addition to the NYC nightlife lore. Even Julia Fox showed her support by simply writing, “THIS.”
A few commenters referenced the classic RHONY moment, when Sonja hosted a fashion show and claimed that Madonna wanted to come but couldn’t get in. However, an overwhelming majority of the comments were poking fun at Sonja’s use of AI.
“Not the fake Madonna photo. Girl you can do better than this,” wrote one concerned fan, with another adding, “Sonja I love and treasure you but please don’t do ADI of you and Madonna.”
A third fan wrote, “I think using an AI photo kind of invalidates what you are saying though..”
Whether you think Sonja’s AI moment was a clever nod to her wild ’80s escapades or just another cringey moment from RHONY’s resident party girl, one thing is for sure. She’ll always find a way to keep us talking.
