RHONJ’s Teresa Giudice Still Keeps in Contact With Some ‘Nice’ Prison Friends

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice keeps in touch with her friends, regardless of where she met them. In fact, the writer is still in contact with friends she met while she was in prison. And she’s not afraid to admit it.

Teresa was indicted on federal fraud charges and went to prison for 15 months. She began her sentence in 2014 and was eventually released after 11 months. You’d think it would be torturous (considering Chrisleys’ account of prison), but Teresa shared that her stay wasn’t that bad.

Teresa Giudice says “everyone was so nice” to her in prison

The RHONJ star went on The Viall Files podcast and talked about all sorts of things. One of the things she touched on was her time behind bars and her experiences in prison.

“Everyone was really nice to me,” Teresa shared (at the 35.16 mark). “I  mean, listen, there was a few girls that would give me the dirty look. And I was like, ‘Really, you don’t want to do that,’ you know? I’m like, ‘I’m really pissed off that I’m here and you don’t… like don’t even come near me.’”

That’s actually not surprising. We all know Teresa is tough. She doesn’t back down from family members, from drill sergeants, and apparently from prison inmates.

Teresa said that she mostly just “kept to herself.” She spent a lot of time at the gym or watching herself on TV! Tre even managed to make some friends behind bars. She even still keeps in touch with these friends to this day.

“As a matter of fact, I had lunch with two of the girls that I was in there with,” she revealed. “I still keep in touch with three of them.”

Trust Teresa to turn what could have been a terrible situation into one that wasn’t so bad. She’s always known how to look out for herself. Even now, when her future with RHONJ is shaky, she knows that no matter what happens, she’ll be fine

Which isn’t to say, she’s out for sure. As of now, no official announcement has been made. But the signs are there that the show could potentially be moving on without her.
