Heather Dubrow reveals the secret to long-lasting marriage with Terry Dubrow
Recently, the actress explained just what it takes to have a successful marriage during an interview with E! News.
“Listen, marriage has to be rooted in faith, and relationships take a lot of work,” the RHOC veteran told the publication. “Terry and I have been together 29 years, and we’ve been so lucky.”
Heather continued, “what I love most about him is that he shows up. He always has a smile, and no matter what I’m wearing, he’ll make me feel beautiful. Having a partner like that just gives you the confidence to step out the door and take on the world.”
It is true that Terry has a positive demeanor. And it’s apparent from RHOC footage that he knows how to lighten any mood. For her part, Heather makes sure to practice gratitude. Even when they get bad news, such as a recent financial loss.
“Honestly, I don’t think perfect balance exists,” she shared. “People always talk about ‘having it all,’ but to me, that’s about realizing that wherever you are in your life right now—you already have it all. Accepting that really shifts your perspective.”
The couple share 21-year-old twins Nick and Max. Kat is 18. And their youngest, Ace, is 14.
