Victoria SanJuan kept a big secret from Aesha Scott during Season 10 of Below Deck Mediterranean. On air, we learned that V is a semi-green stew. But when she appeared alongside Aesha recently on Watch What Happens Live, she dropped a line that made Aesha realize just how new to certain aspects of this industry V actually was.
Aesha Scott didn’t know Below Deck Med would be Victoria SanJuan’s first superyacht
BDM is only one episode in. However, we can already see that Aesha has the stronger team this season. Not only are her girls hardworking, but they are also unafraid to bare their souls on national television, an aspect this writer appreciates. From the tragic loss of her boyfriend to her journey following his death, V is opening up right out of the gate.
Or so we thought. As it turns out, V kept one minor detail hidden from her boss during filming. Following Episode 1, V and Aesha appeared on WWHL. Here, Andy Cohen had a question just for V. She has the least amount of experience on her team, he noted.
So, “How intimidating was it coming to work with both Aesha and Kizzi [Kitchener],” he asked. In response, V revealed, “It was my first superyacht, so just taking in the whole experience was a lot.” Leaning over her armrest, Aesha interjected, asking, “It was your first superyacht?”
“It was my first superyacht, sorry,” V clarified with a laugh. “You’re just finding this out now?” Andy wondered. After a few wide-mouthed pauses, Aesha answered yes, saying, “I didn’t realize it was her first.” Still laughing, V joked, “You popped my cherry on that boat. It was my first superyacht.”
“Speaking of popped cherries,” Andy chimed in with a subject change, “Did any of the men on the boat immediately catch your eye?” Smiling, V noted that Max Salavador sure did. But he is “a bit chaotic,” she quipped.
Below Deck Mediterranean continues Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
