Rumors have been swirling about Teresa Giudice and her
estranged husband Joe Giudice for years months. She was seen holding hands with a 20-something-year-old named Blake Schreck… more than once. Sources claimed that Teresa barely visited Joe in jail. Reports surfaced that Joe’s mother and brother gave Teresa the cold shoulder during a court appearance in response to all of the cheating rumors.
Now, Joe is out of the ICE detention center and living the skinny life in Italy while he waits on the deportation decision. Teresa and their four daughters haven’t visited yet, but there are some major plans on the agenda. Teresa and Joe will sit down for an interview with Andy Cohen.
Jesus Juggs no more? Apparently Real Housewives of Orange County’s Tamra Judge is no longer feeling the hate towards former costar Alexis Bellino. It must be so much easier to be the magnanimous one after the fact, isn’t it Tamra?
Tamra operates in a world where she either loves being around you, or can’t stand you. Apparently, those are the same feelings people have towards Tamra as well.
Love her or hate her, Tamra Judge always finds a way to amplify the drama on Real Housewives of Orange County. Sometimes she’s directly involved, but mostly she finds a way to drum up issues between others by talking out both sides of her mouth. Tamra still has real drama of her own that we don’t really see play out on camera anymore (thankfully).
I just re-watched Season 5 of RHOC (highly recommend). For a refresher, that was the season where Tamra screamed, “I want a divorce!!!” at Simon Barney in the back of a limo. From that point on, the drama within Tamra’s family escalated to a point that no parent can ever prepare for. It has been well documented on the series that Tamra has been “erased” from her eldest daughter, Sidney’s life. Sidney Barney moved in with Simon shortly after the divorce, and has since been living away at college. Back in 2017, Tamra reunited with Sidney and Simon for Sidney’s high-school graduation. The reunion was short-lived because Tamra posted about it on her social media. Sidney has also shared that her issues with Tamra are personal, and that she is “disappointed” in Tamra’s behavior on RHOC.
Bravo has certainly given us some polarizing characters to deal with. People you either love or hate, with not much grey area. The shows we watch often celebrate poor behavior and even reward those who may commit crimes. We enjoy discussing the fallout of DUIs or court cases. But what about the folks behind these somewhat messy characters? The network execs who run the shows? One of those guys used to be Andy Cohen. He was the Executive Vice President of Development and Talent at Bravo until 2013.
People have a lot of thoughts on Andy, now the host of Watch What Happens Live. Several of the core Bravo franchise programs used to be fun and light. Viewers appreciated the luxury and escaping from their own lives for an hour. But as the years wore on, a few of the shows became darker. Many fans felt like horrible behavior was encouraged and fingers were pointed in Andy’s direction. Kathy Griffin used to have a reality show on Bravo and she has pointed some fingers at Andy too. Now she’s speaking out about her time on the network and how Andy performed in the boss role.
Fans have crowned their latest “guy I love to hate” king. And, drum roll please, the honor goes to Real Housewives of Orange County’s Emily Simpson’s husband. Shane Simpson.
One would assume the decision to air your life on reality tv would have been a joint decision between the couples. Yet, we’ve continued to have a few husbands who show up to the party with barely concealed contempt for not only the other women, but even their own wives.
The Real Housewives of Orange County has had more than its share of bad marriages. Viewers have been subjected to uncomfortable scenes of marriages falling apart almost since the beginning of the show. Watching RHOC through the years is enough to make someone not only think twice about marriage, but to consider taking a vow of celibacy!
Who could forget the unhappy union of Donn Gunvalson and Vicki Gunvalson? The ugly fights of Tamra Judge and Simon Barney? Kelly Dodd’s eagerness to shed husband Michael Dodd? More recently, Gina Kirschenheiter’s divorce has played out on the show and in the media like a tragic Lifetime movie. Emily Simpson’s marriage has also been the subject of conversation due to hubby Shane Simpson’s disdainful comments towards her on the show. It seems fair to ask, how does Emily really feel about Shane’s sarcastic comments?
On paper, Brandi Glanville and Kelly Dodd seem like a match made in Housewives heaven. The two fiery stars of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and The Real Housewives of Orange County have struck up a fast friendship lately, posting photos together on social media, having sleepovers and generally leaving chaos in their wake.
Ahead of her upcoming appearance with Kelly on Watch What Happens Live, the RHOBH alum opened up in a new interview about why she clicks with her OC counterpart and why she thinks the other women use the RHOC firebrand to deflect from their own lives.
Despite the inexplicable decision to end Below Deck Mediterranean without a reunion, fans can still get some insider scoop from Season 4. Cast members have been making the rounds on Watch What Happens Live in a bid to make up for it, and also extend their fifteen minutes of fame.
Most recently was the interior supporting team of Anastasia Surmava and Aesha Scott. These gals were the most competent and least dysfunctional duo that Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier had to work with. They also became good friends with their superior and never questioned her work ethic, unlike in previous seasons. So their storylines had less to do with discussing Hannah’s inadequacies and more to do with the aftermath of Anastasia’s shortcomings in the galley.
