In response to the coronavirus pandemic, Bravo has had to become creative putting together new shows. They’ve shot confessionals at home and reunions via zoom. It’s not the same, but it’s better than nothing, and these efforts are appreciated by the fans who are watching at home.
Now, there’s a new Zoom talk show coming up with a pretty random, all-star cast. Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams and Below Deck alum Kate Chastain will executive produce and host Bravo’s Chat Room along with Potomac Housewife Gizelle Bryant and Hannah Berner from Summer House.
Holla! I will admit that I loved Heather Thomson when she joined Real Housewives of New York during Season 5. She was smart and quick to call anyone out on their bullsh*t. I loved seeing her friendship with fellow RHONY newbie Carole Radziwell blossom.
Viewers may recall watching Heather try to help co-star Sonja Morgan launch her toaster oven line. And who can forget Heather refusing to invite Ramona Singer to the cast trip to London? But after three seasons, Heather was tired of the fake drama and exited the series.
After months of speculation, and heated negotiations, Real Housewives of Atlanta OG NeNe Leakes is done with the show… for now anyway. It would not be shocking if she made a return, since she has before.
In all honesty, it was pretty obvious that NeNe was gone. The upcoming season is currently filming. They are nearly halfway through and NeNe hadn’t filmed one scene. So, of course, she wasn’t coming back to the show. The writing was on the wall.
Kate Chastain, love her or hate her, is an iconic Bravo-lebrity. Before her time on Below Deck she was also a Bravo super-fan! And that is why so many love her. She dishes her real feelings towards all the other Bravo-lebs she meets.
Tragically, Kate is leaving Below Deck. For those of you who stan, don’t worry, shes got her own new show on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM channel! She’s also teased being back on our screens in the future. For those of you who can’t stand her, it’s been a tough summer, let’s at least enjoy the deep shade she brings, even if it’s off screen.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills “OG” Kyle Richards and newbie co-star Garcelle Beauvais are never, ever going to be besties. In April, Garcelle was interviewed on Watch What Happens Live, and she shared her feelings about her new co-stars.
During the games that night, Garcelle named Kyle as the least welcoming Housewife. Garcelle also chose Kyle as the RHOBH co-star she would least like to be quarantined with. And, spoiler alert, the new Housewife said that Kyle had the biggest ego among her co-stars. Are you feeling the love, Kyle?
Danielle Staub has finally given up her dreams of being a full-time cast member on Real Housewives of New Jersey. After doing all the dirty work as a part-time cast member for three seasons, she announced her “retirement” from the series, which was pretty silly considering that she had zero friends in the cast. Obviously, she wasn’t going to film again, but that “choice” was hardly her own.
However, the show did resort to bringing in Danielle when the actual cast members weren’t generating enough drama, which seemingly meant that the door was always open for a Danielle Staub comeback, and by that I mean, an overly exploited and underpaid appearance or two. Welp, that ship has sailed. Danielle went in on Real Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen, calling out his alleged party habits in addition to claiming that Andy used her to become friends with Kelly Ripa.
After giving the
actual other cast members storylines for three years in a row without being full-time on Real Housewives of New Jersey, Danielle Staub walked away. She waxed poetic about how it was truly the end, but no one really believed that, or at least I didn’t. I assumed she could be very easily swayed if they asked her to stir up drama for the right price.
However, since she recently went in on Andy Cohen, that is never going to happen. She called out his alleged partying habits, wondering how his parents and son feel about his supposed recreational activities. Now, she’s claiming he used her for a famous friend, his now-BFF Kelly Ripa.
For anyone hoping that Danielle Staub would return to Real Housewives of New Jersey to wreak havoc, that ship has sailed. Why do I say that?
Danielle recently dedicated an entire podcast episode to trashing Andy Cohen, the executive producer of the show, and the spokesperson for the Bravo network. She put the nail in her own coffin with this one.
