Brittany Renner Wants More Child Support From Ex P.J. Washington

Brittany Renner is seeking additional financial support from her ex to provide for their son.

The internet personality is pleading with the court to increase P.J. Washington’s child support payments. When the couple first split, the Dallas Mavericks forward was ordered to pay Brittany $5,500 monthly. That is not enough, according to her, to cover all the costs needed to support their son.

Late last year, Brittany and their four-year-old son, Paul Jermaine Washington III, moved to California.

The cost of living in California may be significantly higher than in North Carolina, where Brittany and P.J. were living before breaking up. In documents obtained by TMZ Sports, Brittany claims that she “cannot afford the high cost of living given the current child support orders.”  With P.J. exercising less than half of his visitation time, according to her, she is struggling to get by.

She’s hoping to have her monthly pay increased to $35,000. Brittany notes that the basketball star appears to live a life of luxury with his wife, Alisah Chanel, and their son, Preston. According to her, they own many luxury vehicles and frequently post photos of themselves in designer clothes, and often go on luxurious vacations.

Last month, the Mavericks signed P.J. to a four-year contract extension worth around $90 million. When the initial child support fee was agreed upon, the former first-round NBA draft pick also had to pay a $130,000 lump sum payment to cover existing child support costs. Along with an increase in child support payments, Brittany wants $50,000 to cover attorney fees. Brittany was briefly married to rapper Kevin Gates earlier this year.

A hearing on this child support issue will take place in November.
