Real Housewives of Salt Lake City stars Whitney Rose and Lisa Barlow are at it again. The duo were once thick as thieves, but sadly their friendship fell apart several seasons ago. However, in the Season 5 reunion, they called a truce. But that was short-lived as the two are already at each other’s throats. During Lisa’s “clarity” lunch, she insulted Whitney by calling her a “redhead.” And this left Whitney’s “heart bursting in pain.”
Whitney Rose thought Lisa Barlow called her a “redneck” on RHOSLC Season 6
During Season 6, Episode 3, Lisa held a lunch with the group to provide clarity on the lawsuits against her. Poster boards of legal documents were everywhere with the word “dismissed” stamped on them. This left the group confused, especially Whitney.
When Whitney asked Lisa what clarity these documents were supposed to bring, Lisa shouted, “Dismissed, dismissed, dismissed!”
Still, it wasn’t until the end of the episode when they had their big blow-up. Lisa not only questioned Whitney’s business practices but insulted her by calling her a “redhead.” Who knew that was an insult? However, Whitney thought Lisa called her a “redneck” at first.
Now after seeing the footage, Whitney realized it was “redhead.” And this struck a chord with her. It was reported on Reddit that Whitney took to Instagram to share her support for redheads in response.
She wrote, “So much to unpack here … at first I laughed when I saw this b/c I thought she was calling me a “redneck” and I was laughing at my own miss. Then, I realized she actually called me “redhead” as an insult. it just sent my entire heart bursting in pain for all the redheads that I love deeply.”
Whitney continued, “THIS right here is EXACTLY why I colored my hair red. If you are naturally a red head, please know that you are beautiful and rare. Don’t listen to the hate, one day you will love your natural beauty.”
