Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars is in full swing with only 10 couples remaining in the fight for the coveted Mirrorball trophy.

Winning DWTS doesn’t guarantee a big payday. Unlike competition shows like Survivor or Big Brother, the pair that wins the Mirrorball doesn’t take home a massive check for their efforts. Mostly, the dancing duos are fighting for bragging rights and a shiny trophy. Still, it is a great achievement, and the Season 34 pros are determined to make their mark on the season.

Some of them know the path to victory quite well. Several Season 34 pros have taken home the prize in the past, others are fighting for their first sip of victory this season.

Here’s the pros from Dancing with the Stars Season 34 who have won the mirrorball before

Chemistry, technique, and originality. That seems to be the magic recipe for receiving high scores and fan votes on DWTS. The pros must master those three elements to have a chance at the prize this season. Some of them have an advantage, seeing that they’ve mastered the competition in the past.

Let’s take a look at the pros who already have a DWTS win under their belt. For this list, we will be focusing on the Season 34 pros only. So, judge Derek Hough’s record-setting six wins will not be included.

Val Chmerkovskiy – Three wins

Having won three seasons of DWTS, Val Chmerkovskiy is well-acquainted with the Mirrorball trophy. He took home his first win in Season 20 with partner Rumer Willis. He claimed victory again in Season 23 with Laurie Hernandez and in Season 32 with Xochitl Gomez.

Daniella Karagach – One win

Daniella Karagach has one DWTS win under her belt. She and NBA player Iman Shumpert crushed the competition in Season 30, earning Daniella her first win. As an Emmy-nominated choreographer, we’re sure there are plenty of other big wins in her future. Plus, she always puts on an incredible show, Mirrorball trophy winner or not.

Jenna Johnson – Two wins

Jenna Johnson is only one win behind her husband Val. Her first taste of victory came in 2018 when she and partner Adam Rippon took home the Mirrorball. More recently, Jenna took home her second win last season with Bachelor Joey Graziadei.

Alan Bersten – One win

Alan Bersten won DWTS in Season 28 with partner Hannah Brown. The Bachelorette star opened up about her challenging relationship with Alan in her memoir God Bless This Mess.

“I was emotionally unwell,” she wrote, per Us Weekly. “I was on the brink of tears every day, and nobody on the set knew what to do.”

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she revealed her relationship with Alan could be “volatile” at times.

“That is a crazy experience,” she told the outlet. “There’s just a lot of high emotions. Alan will always be a dear friend of mine but in the experience, even he would admit, it could be volatile. We could love each other, hate each other in the next second.”

Witney Carson – One win

Witney Carson won Season 19 of DWTS with actor Alfonso Ribeiro, who is now the co-host of DWTS alongside former pro Julianne Hough. Many fans believe Witney is on her way to a second win in Season 34 with partner Robert Irwin. The pair consistently finds themselves at the top of the leaderboard. The competition is stiff, but I like their chances.

Mark Ballas – Three wins

Mark Ballas is tied with Val for the most wins out of the Season 34 pros. He took home his first Mirrorball in 2006 with partner Olympic figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi. His second win came to two seasons later when he was paired with another Olympian – gymnast Shawn Johnson. More recently, Mark took home the Mirrorball in Season 31 with social media star Charli D’Amelio. Mark may be vying for his fourth win in Season 34 with partner Whitney Leavitt. The Hulu star is proving to be a fierce competitor.

Emma Slater – One win

Emma Slater took home the Mirrorball trophy in Season 24 with partner Rashad Jennings. Fans were hoping Emma would have a chance at the win this year. They expressed disappointment when her Season 34 partner was released. One fan commented on a TikTok video of her with partner Andy Richter, writing, “Emma, girl, I love Andy but advocate for yourself.”

Dancing with the Stars is available to stream on Disney+.
