More than a week after their Laguna Beach wedding, John Janssen and Alexis Bellino are playing the “married couple firsts” game.
On October 12, Alexis acknowledged their new status as they launched a boat day together.
“Hey, babe,” Alexis said in an Instagram Story. “It’s our first time as husband and wife on the water. First time! It’s not girlfriend, it’s not fiancée. It’s wifey! Look how hot my husband is. We’re gonna go have a fun day on the water! Happy Sunday!”

John and Alexis tied the knot on Friday, October 3, at The Ranch resort. According to People, approximately 140 guests were on hand for the wedding.
Obviously, a sprinkle of the couple’s Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars were on hand for the party. RHOC alum Jo De La Rosa was present, as well as frenemy Tamra Judge. Though Heather Dubrow was also invited, she and her husband Terry Dubrow had a conflicting family obligation that day.
Tamra actually shared a review of the wedding with Teddi Mellencamp on their podcast, Two T’s in a Pod. “It was so beautiful,” Tamra told Teddi. “It was rustic … You’re in the woods underneath all these big, I think there were oak trees … It was very non-traditional.”
Additionally, per Tamra the wedding included a special ceremony in which John and Alexis’ kids from their previous relationships participated. Going against tradition, the bride chose to exclude the “cake-cutting ceremony,” as well as the tossing of the garter and the wedding bouquet.
Also excluded from the wedding was castmate Jennifer Pedranti. Although Jenn received an earlier “save the date” card, apparently she failed to check in on Alexis during a medical emergency. Hence, the yoga instructor was crossed off the guest list. Ouch. That just might be another Housewives wedding “first.”
