Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars already has one breakout contestant. Conservationist Robert Irwin has been setting the ballroom and the internet on fire. He has no dance experience, yet he has good technique and turns out crowd-pleasing performances.
During Week 3 of DWTS, Robert and his partner, Witney Carson, danced a spicy cha-cha. However, when Robert removed his shirt, the internet melted down. Robert’s shirtless moment earned him an offer to host a Chippendales show. And although he was “flattered,” Robert turned down the offer. Fans will have to settle for seeing Robert dance in the ballroom.

As you may recall, Robert did a campaign for Bonds underwear. In it, Robert just wore his boxers, and once again, the reaction was overwhelmingly positive. Crikey.
Now, Robert just shared another exciting announcement via TikTok, and this one is more family-friendly. “Very exciting news. I’m voicing a Disney character in the new Zootopia 2 movie!” Robert exclaimed. “I want to show you, for the first time, here he is. Keep an eye out. I voice a koala by the name of Robert Furwin.”
He stepped out of the frame, revealing a picture of his character. The cute koala, who sported a khaki uniform, was chilling and drinking from a coconut with a straw. “That’s him. Yes, you heard right – Robert Furwin, the koala. Look at him,” Robert said. “Look at his little uniform. He looks just like me. This is so cool!” He added, “Like childhood dream come true. I am so excited!”
Robert should also be excited about his chances of bringing home the Mirrorball. The talent is deep for Season 34, but Robert and Witney are frontrunners, along with The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Whitney Leavitt and her partner, Mark Ballas.
Dancing with the Stars Season 34 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC and Disney+. It will stream on Hulu the next day.
