Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Bronwyn Newport has an update to share on her hubby, Todd Bradley. Now in her sophomore season of the show, Bronwyn has learned a few lessons in navigating the world of Real Housewives. Like… maybe don’t pretend to purchase a $4 million necklace. And her husband, Todd, has learned some things as well. Bronwyn is happy to report that there’s now a big difference in the way Todd treats her.
Bronwyn Newport gave an update on her marriage to Todd Bradley
Bronwyn came onto the scene in Season 5 of RHOSLC and immediately came for the big dogs. Heather Gay and Lisa Barlow didn’t know what hit them. But Todd was not a fan of Bronwyn’s behavior. He shocked the cast with his bluntness towards her during their Palm Springs trip.
However, during Part 1 of the Season 5 reunion, Todd and Bronwyn acknowledged they wanted to change the way they spoke to each other. Bronwyn noted, “Todd and I have had some really important conversations as we’ve watched [the show].” Todd admitted, “I can be gruff.”
So, did Todd actually make any changes since the reunion? During Season 6, Episode 3, Bronwyn shared the answer was yes. She said, “The biggest takeaway from New York was Todd’s willingness to see what people were saying about how he speaks to me and acknowledge it.”
Bronwyn added, “Since then, I think Todd does make a significant effort, and if I’m being totally honest, Todd’s made more changes than I’ve made since New York. I’m still the same old me.”
And he seems a bit more lighthearted. For Todd, that is. Bronwyn told Bravo’s The Daily Dish his reaction to Lisa calling her a “gout d*ck sucker.”
She shared, “I don’t think Todd was worried about it. I don’t think he cried about it. I think he was more like, ‘Ewww, why do you guys say stuff like that to each other, ever?’ Like, ‘Why are you guys talking about d*cks ever, let alone ones that are infested with anything.'” Amen to that.
