We’ve all seen the headlines. Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga are allegedly inching closer to resolving their family feud. But does that mean we’re getting closer to Season 15 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey? Not necessarily.
At first glance, it might seem like this family reunion is setting up the return of the once-beloved Bravo show. However, a new insider report suggests that producers don’t want to film it.
A RHONJ production insider spilled tea on Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga’s “attempt to reconcile”
A few weeks ago, Teresa began teasing that she’d be open to making up with Joe and Melissa Gorga. Since then, the word on the street is that Teresa did reach out. Meanwhile, Joe set a few conditions for their potential sitdown.
“If I sit down with her, and I hear her out, it has to be very humble,” Joe explained in a recent podcast appearance.
Either way, it doesn’t sound like the RHONJ producers care. An insider close to production supposedly spoke to Radar Online. They said there weren’t any plans to film Teresa and Joe’s reunion.
“Producers have made it known they have no interest in capturing Teresa and Joe’s attempt to reconcile. They are not planning to film any of it,” the insider allegedly claimed.
They continued, “This is a storyline production has made it known they’re not interested in capturing.”
Similar to RHONJ fans, it sounds like producers are unsure about whether any of this is authentic. Are they actually trying to reconcile, or are they all just angling to get back on the show?
“Melissa is going along with this because she’s also a bit worried about her spot on the show,” the source theorized. “She’s concerned that if Teresa was brought back and they were still on the outs, she may not have a spot there.”
With that said, the supposed insider didn’t fully rule out the possibility of seeing both parties back on RHONJ. If they all play their cards right, we could see their newly reforged relationship in action.
“If Joe and Teresa do end up making up and are in a good place, it is, of course, possible production could entertain having them both back on the show, and then fans would get to watch their rekindled relationship,” the source added.
For now, it seems like we’re still at square one. Producers are taking a wait-and-see approach, just like the fans. We’re all eagerly waiting to see if RHONJ can ever find its way back.
