She loves a bath and won’t hesitate to fight for a room with a tub on vacation. Meredith isn’t afraid to sport a bedazzled facekini to a party — she’s a fashion daredevil. Also, her way of speaking is iconic. From “You can leave!” to “Let’s talk about the husband,” she’s gifted us so many quotable moments.
RHOSLC fans have become truly obsessed with Meredith and her distinctive way of speaking. Is it an accent? Who knows. However, Meredith recently tried explaining exactly how her iconic voice came to be.

In a recent TikTok interview with Us Weekly, Meredith broke down exactly why she speaks the way she does. “It’s interesting because I pick up vocal patterns from whoever I’m around,” she began. “So when I’m with my friends from the South, I start to have a Southern drawl. If I’m with my British friends, I start to go British. Even if I’m just on the phone or sometimes just randomly, I don’t know why.” A woman of the world! Dorit Kemsley can relate.
Meredith acknowledged that she speaks differently, admitting that she had attended speech therapy as a child to help her enunciate her letters. “It is what it is. I’m something I’ve had my whole life,” she concluded. “If you don’t like it, it’s not my problem. Don’t listen.” And that’s on that, but clearly, the majority of the fandom loves the way the Ice Queen talks. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
