Welcome to the recap for Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 6, Episode 6. Last week, Lisa and Angie had an all-out brawl during Whitney’s wine tasting. The two argued about Angie paying for her own vacations, Lisa’s facelift (twelve threads down each side, thank you very much), and… who was taller. This tit for tat exhausted the group, especially Mary. When Angie wouldn’t let things go, Mary announced she’d let their friendship go then. Will they be able to turn things around? Here’s exactly what went down in Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 6, Episode 6: “Out of Gas.”

While we got a breather from watching an hour-long screaming match, the drama did not slow down. Mary called out Angie for turning into a different person and then pivoted to Angie making fun of her farts. Angie somehow contained her laughter and won her friendship back with Mary. Meanwhile, Heather lit the fuse to destroy her friendship with Lisa. When Lisa wouldn’t own up to digging info on Angie, Heather tried to get Meredith to believe Angie’s side of the story. Then the identity theft charges against Bronwyn came to light. And Bronwyn firmly believed that this was all Lisa’s doing

Angie takes accountability for going low with Lisa

It was the morning after the wine tasting, and Heather called Angie to goss about what had gone down. Angie told Heather she felt like it is what it is with Lisa, but she really wanted to make things right with Mary. She said, “I just hope that she can remember what she loves about me … and I’m ready for something that might be a hard conversation.”

Angie felt remorse about her behavior but justified it because she felt like she was standing up to Lisa. She said, “I felt protective of every one of us that day. It wasn’t just about me. It was about reoccurring takedowns.” Heather was hopeful Lisa would own up to her part in this as well.

In her confessional, Heather shared, “I appreciate that Angie’s taking accountability. In my heart of hearts I believe that Lisa is capable of admitting fault as well. I just don’t think I’ve ever seen her do it.”

Even with all the drama, Heather told Angie she still thought the group was going to have a blast on their upcoming trip. Heather was bringing them on a yacht with Below Deck Down Under’s Captain Jason Chambers. She joked, “If we cannot enjoy ourselves on a super yacht, we are some sad b*tches.”

Meanwhile, Todd and Bronwyn tried to enjoy themselves over ice cream. One would think Todd would choose a classic no-frills vanilla, but he went bold with a raspberry cookie swirl instead. Bronwyn got a sundae and warned Todd not to take her cherry, which he did five minutes later as he ignored her talking about Lisa. She told him, “I know, you don’t care about the details.” Todd quipped, “At all.” Todd must have taken a pause on improving their relationship.

When all else fails, blame it on the dog

As Lisa packed for Heather’s trip, she told John the psychic at Whitney’s wine tasting told her they had a communication problem in their marriage. John barely got four words as Lisa cut him off. It was happening right before our very eyes.

Then John shared the most about how he felt since he’s been on the show. He said, “We aren’t on the same page because I don’t think you want to hear what I have to say because you’re already in your head thinking that you’re right.”  Lisa admitted she could do a better job listening to him, but added the issue wasn’t one sided. John scoffed, “Well everything you do is perfect. It’s just me.” Yikes.

Angie’s hard conversation with Mary was up next. Angie said, “I know you were trying to help me. It’s hard for me to allow someone to bully me and not respond. This is the bully on the playground …” Mary interjected, “That you’re becoming.”

Mary didn’t understand why Angie let Lisa rile her up so much. She knew Angie as “patient, kind, sweet” and not as someone who threw tantrums. Mary asked, “How are you allowing someone to get you that mad to the point it’s affecting our friendship? That’s where the problem is. You get so caught up into something that’s so not important. Then I don’t even exist.”

This led to Mary being upset that Angie made fun of her for farting. She told Angie she was being mean but then blamed the smell on the dog. Angie’s dog looked like it wasn’t me! Angie was on the struggle bus not to laugh. But she made it through and promised she’d get her act together. The two hugged and were friends once again.

Soup Man or Suit Man?

Heather and Lisa met up to do a little shopping and catch up. But it was a bust. When Angie came up, Lisa said, “I am sick of her attacks. I think she gets a little high off of it.”

Heather said she only noticed Angie crying. Lisa said. “Crying about what? Because she’s a mean b*tch?” Heather responded, “Lisa, if she’s a mean b*tch, you’re a mean b*tch.” If this was Heather’s way to get Lisa to apologize, it wasn’t working.

When Lisa said she was sick of Angie’s digging, Heather said Angie was sick of Lisa’s too. Heather then asked who the “Soup Man” is. Lisa explained, “She just said I cheated on my husband, and I’m like, ‘I don’t know; why don’t you worry about your Suit Man?’” And who was the Suit Man? Lisa claimed, “Nobody.”

Then Heather told Lisa no one rides for her because she’s burned them all. She said, “You’re a risky f*cking friend.” Heather advised Lisa, “Until you really clear it up or change, it’s never going to go away.”

Britani took the advice from the psychic to heart and scheduled time to see her daughter Olivia. The only problem was Olivia was hesitant to meet. She explained to Britani she didn’t want to get burned again. The last time they met up, Britani spent the whole time making out with Jared. Blech.

Ultimately, Britani didn’t know how to make up for the lost time with her daughters. She kept apologizing, but Olivia was a long way from accepting it. The hurt from her mom not paying attention to her for years ran too deep.

Whitney just wants friends who aren’t criminals on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City…

Heather’s plan to blow up her friendship with Lisa continued when she met up with Meredith. She told Meredith about her shopping trip with Lisa and how she wouldn’t acknowledge she did any digging. Heather said, “I want to defend her. But, like, I also don’t want to be a fool.” She then tried to convince Meredith that Angie was telling the truth.

In her confessional, Meredith wondered why everything Angie said was gospel. Was she telling the truth when she accused Heather of “Barbie scissor kicks” with Jen Shah?

Later on, Angie and Mary went over to Whitney’s to fill out their preference sheets for the yacht. As Angie dutifully filled out “2003 Dom Perignon” for Mary, she spilled the tea about Bronwyn. Identity theft charges were all over the news. Whitney said in her confessional, “I try to choose friends who are not part of the Utah crime circle. But obviously my picker is wrong.”

Bronwyn then met up with Todd to figure out how to clean up this mess. She explained the charges happened a decade ago, and the case was dismissed and sealed, and so were her lips. Bronwyn sensed this information was leaked all because of Lisa. Todd snarked, “I wouldn’t piss on Lisa if her brain was on fire.” He then advised her that if she went on this trip, he didn’t want to hear about a fight with Lisa. Todd said, “You’re setting yourself up for that. It’s on you.”

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock.
