Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Lisa Barlow confused Angie Katsanevas when she brought up the “Soup Man.” The two were having an epic showdown during Whitney Rose’s wine tasting when the topic came up. After Lisa and Angie argued about Angie’s supposed credit issues and Lisa’s facelift, Lisa dropped the bomb about Soup Man. But just who was he, and why did Lisa bring him up?
Angie Katsanevas’ “Soup Man” is actually “Suit Man,” says Lisa Barlow
The tit for tat started during Season 6, Episode 5, when Lisa and Angie argued about things big and small (like Angie’s height) the entire episode. But one of the things Lisa brought up against Angie was the Soup Man. Angie yelled at Lisa, “You don’t shop at Nordstrom? Your boyfriend does for you!” Lisa retorted, “What about Soup Man, b*tch?”
During Lisa’s confessional, the producer asked her who the Soup Man was. And Lisa advised they ask the psychic that was at Whitney’s party. Lisa said, “I think that’s a question for Terence.”
However, during Season 6, Episode 6, Lisa cleared the air with Heather Gay on the matter. Heather had asked why she had brought up the Soup Man. Lisa shared, “She just said I cheated on my husband, and I’m like, ‘I don’t know, why don’t you worry about your Suit Man?’”
Heather then realized there wasn’t a Soup Man, but a Suit Man. She said, “Oh, we thought you said soup! Like a guy from the soup kitchen. I was going through every time she’s brought me soup.”
Then Heather asked Lisa to explain who Suit Man was. Lisa said, “Nobody.” Heather noted in her confessional, “There is no Soup Man and there is no Suit Man. She’s just throwing shit at the wall to see if it sticks.”
Still, internet sleuths did their own digging. And allegedly Suit Man supposedly dated Meredith Marks and then Angie. So was Suit Man really nobody? We’ll have to wait and see how this plays out.
