On October 23, Garcelle Beauvais made her first visit to Andy Cohen’s Clubhouse since leaving Real Housewives of Beverly Hills earlier this year.
The show won’t won’t be the same without her. Naturally, fans were curious to know if there’s anything that could make the Haitian beauty return.
Garcelle Beauvais would consider rejoining RHOBH if Erika Jayne left the cast
When a Watch What Happens Live audience member asked about the conditions of a possible return, Garcelle didn’t hesitate. She had a ready answer.
“Garcelle, is there anyone from Beverly Hills that could leave, that would make you consider coming back?” the fan asked. “And if so, who?”
“That’s a very good question,” the Coming to America star mused, before blurting out, “Erika [Jayne]!”
The two women were often at odds during Garcelle’s time on the show. In 2022, Garcelle famously unfollowed Erika on Instagram after the singer posted a video of herself throwing the actress’ book, Love Me as I Am, in the trash. It was later revealed that Lisa Rinna actually took the video and sent it to Erika to post as her own. In addition, Erika was slammed by fans for drunkenly cursing at one of Garcelle’s teenage sons at an RHOBH event.
The boiling point was reached in the RHOBH Season 14 reunion when Erika said she “wished” Garcelle was “more interesting.” Garcelle had had enough of the backhanded abuse. Not only did she refuse to participate in the cast reunion photo, but she later announced she was leaving RHOBH after five years on the show.
Since then, she has unfollowed all of her co-stars, including former bestie Sutton Stracke. The show’s “Lucy and Ethel” were friends no more after Sutton failed to support her at the reunion.
Despite their breakup, Garcelle has happy memories of their friendship. “I look back on it fondly,” she admitted. “We had some really good laughs. We were there for each other, mostly me there for her. But I don’t regret it.”
