When Bravo worlds collide, the result is always epic! And it sounds as if Captain Jason Chambers’ charter with the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast didn’t disappoint. Honestly, if any housewives cast should have sailed with the Below Deck Down Under crew, it’s this one.
When former Real Housewives of New York star Jill Zarin came aboard for Season 11 of Below Deck, it was a dark and stormy charter. Fans were quick to accuse Jill of being too demanding and difficult. I have a feeling that the BDDU crew may have some unusual requests from Lisa Barlow and Mary Cosby, and I’m here for it!
Captain Jason says the RHOSLC cast have “taken it to a new height”
Recently, Bravo’s most eligible bachelor discussed having the Salt Lake City ladies aboard. “We didn’t know what we’re in for, but wow,” Captain Jason told US Weekly. “What a wow. To be quite honest, there’s a lot going on now. There’s a lot happening, and I don’t think you could fit that much into a three-day charter.”
According to Captain Jason, he has spent time with Heather Gay and Whitney Rose at Bravo events in Australia. So, when Heather suggested a three-day charter, this crossover was born. “They’re so lovely, all of them. [The crew felt] blessed that they had that time with them. They’re really beautiful people,” Jason explained.
He continued, “However, we know what they like when they’re together. You’ll see that. I’ve tried everything to try and break the ice.” Yikes! “I brought some yoga and some Zen into it to try and stop it. But I don’t think there’s anything we could have done to calm it down,” Jason stated.
“If we pull them apart at each end of the boat,” he quipped, “it’s a lot quieter. As soon as they come together, it’s just on.” The Season 6 trailer was explosive, so I can’t wait to see what happens when the ladies set sail!
