Bo Dietl became a household name on Real Housewives of New Jersey, thanks to Luis Ruelas. When Luis brought his name into this chaos, Bo, a retired NYPD detective turned private investigator, had no choice but to defend himself.
During RHONJ Season 13, viewers learned that Luis reportedly hired Bo to investigate the other stars on this series. When this spilled tea blew up in all the wrong ways, Luis denied these investigative claims. And now, Bo also has a word or two to say about this messy narrative from seasons past.
Bo Dietl wasn’t happy his name was thrown out on RHONJ by Luis Ruelas

During the Season 13 reunion, Luis claimed that Bo “knows sh*t about everybody in this room.” Several beats later, Luis added, “Bo Dietl, who’s like one of the most famous private investigators in the country – one of my best friends – brought me information on each person in this group.” Later, Luis recanted his statements. And now, Bo is adding his two cents to this sticky storyline.
Bo recently spoke with RadarOnline about what actually happened. As Bo explained, “Luis asked me to do something for him — nothing to do with the show. I like Teresa [Giudice] and Luis personally, but I’ve never done background work on the cast. And the whole ‘Bo has dirt on everyone’ is nonsense. Total lies.”
So, when “Luis yelled, ‘I got Bo Dietl!’ claiming I had dirt on everyone.” that was “All nonsense. I told him, ‘Don’t throw my name around unless you’re hiring me.’ If you pay, I will do it legally.”
This drama was “too much nonsense” for Bo. “I deal with real life – killings, threats, kidnappings, corporate investigations. Luis throwing my name out there with ‘dirt on everyone’ is embarrassing,” he ended.
Real Housewives of New Jersey is streaming on Peacock. The show streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
