It’s been a rough year for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp and her estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave. After 13 years of marriage and three kids, they decided to part ways.
Teddi has been focused on her health as she continues to battle stage IV melanoma. Edwin has stayed involved with the family and offered help while she undergoes treatment.
Now it looks like Edwin is ready to start a new chapter, and he is not keeping it quiet.
Edwin Arroyave took to Instagram to show off his new romance amid Teddi Mellencamp divorce
On Monday, October 27, Edwin shared a photo that immediately got fans talking. “About last night,” he wrote on his Instagram Story, tagging a woman named Elsa. The two smiled together by the water, looking happy and relaxed. He later posted another picture of them dressed in coordinating white outfits.
Edwin recently hinted that he was dating again on an episode of his podcast, The Eds. “I am dating someone, yeah,” Edwin said. “It’s pretty serious.” At the time, he didn’t share any details about who she was, but his latest posts seem to confirm it.
Together they are raising Slate, 13, Cruz, 11, and Dove, 5. Edwin is also dad to Bella, 15, from an earlier relationship.
Teddi filed for divorce in November 2024, citing irreconcilable differences. Despite the breakup, Edwin didn’t step away. He has been there through her cancer battle, helping wherever he can. “It’s been a crazy year for us,” he said on his podcast. “First came the separation. Then we found out about the cancer about five months after that. Her health comes first.”
She recently told fans that her latest scans showed no detectable cancer, though she will continue immunotherapy. She has publicly thanked Edwin for being supportive, saying, “He’s been extremely kind and helping with the kids. That’s made things a lot easier.”
Teddi seems to be moving forward too. She shared that she has been on “probably eight dates” since the separation. She also briefly dated producer Ricci Rea, though they split after a few months. Teddi explained that timing and her focus on health played a big part in the breakup.
They may be moving in different directions, but Teddi and Edwin both seem focused on family, stability, and finding some happiness after a difficult year.
