Welcome to the recap for Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 6, Episode 8. Last week, we got our first RHOSLC and Below Deck Down Under crossover when Heather took the ladies on Captain Jason Chambers’ superyacht. It wasn’t all fun in the sun, though. Heather wanted Lisa to walk the plank for planting stories about the group to the press. However, she was missing her smoking gun of receipts, proof, timeline! Here’s exactly what went down in Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 6, Episode 8: “Loose Lips Sink Friend Ships.”
What happened in Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 6, Episode 8?

The rumors and the nastiness about several marriages were brought to light this week. First, Angie spilled the beans that Lisa said Todd smelled like beans while supposedly making out with one of her friends. Even though Lisa apologized to Bronwyn, Lisa was basically dead to her. Meanwhile, Britani pushed her luck with Meredith when she brought up the rumor that Seth had a mistress. The tea was piping hot, but was any of it true?
Heather hoped she and Lisa could move forward

It was day two of their charter, and Heather was optimistic that she and Lisa could still have a friendship after yesterday’s blowup. All she wanted was for Lisa to admit she was the one responsible for the leaks. Or at least say she’s sorry. But Lisa did neither. Still, Heather’s plan was to give Lisa some space before trying to approach her again.
Lisa wasn’t as optimistic, however. She told Meredith, “Nobody normal would have someone say, ‘Admit it!’ That’s not questions; that’s not friendship.” Then Lisa was salty about Meredith not defending her enough, which set Meredith off. Foreshadowing!
Meanwhile, Bronwyn woke up on a pool chair with the crew awkwardly cleaning around her. Bronwyn noted she would rather sleep outside in the rain than share a room with Britani. Aren’t there couches inside?
As Bronwyn tried to relax with a book, her blood pressure skyrocketed again when she heard Britani and Lisa talking about her. Britani complained about Bronwyn tattling on her, but Lisa said she shouldn’t be surprised. She shared that Bronwyn turned against her too. And Lisa had the receipts to prove it.
A text popped up on screen showing Bronwyn asked Lisa to reach out to Gwen’s grandparents to get the conversation started between them. Which is contrary to what Bronwyn had said last season. Oop.
Soon after, everyone met up for breakfast. The awkward silence after Britani and Lisa’s arrival was short-lived once Heather announced they were all going snorkeling, followed by a zombie-themed party. Heather’s plan was for the group to focus on having fun, but things didn’t quite turn out that way.
Was Todd tooting while allegedly making out with Lisa’s friend?

The fun was put on pause during the rest of the breakfast. After Mary gave Bronwyn a hard no when she asked to sleep in her room, Britani shared that Bronwyn could sleep with her. Bronwyn scoffed; she wouldn’t sleep in a bed that a crew member had slept in. She dished that they had seen Jason go into her room. Britani claimed she only asked him to come inside to fix her AC. Nice try, Jan.
Lisa shot down any hope Britani had when she said, “Enough with the pile-on. Captain Jason’s not interested; it’s like dumb.” She then asked Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher to back her up that Jason wasn’t interested, but Daisy just refilled their waters and ran lest she get caught in the crossfire again.
Lisa noted that they shouldn’t talk about each other behind their backs. Bronwyn lost it. She told her she had heard her talking about her daughter and grandparents, and that was not allowed. Angie wanted to make up for lost time and jumped in that Lisa had talked behind Bronwyn’s back.
She dropped the bomb that Lisa had said, “Todd was making out with one of my friends while farting the entire time.” Has anyone on this show ever heard of Gas-X? Bronwyn told Lisa, “F*ck you, you’re dead to me.” This trip was going well for Lisa, wasn’t it?
Mary pondered in her confessional, “If someone told me my husband was making out with someone and farting, I don’t know which one I would be more devastated about.”
After Lisa apologized to Bronwyn, Angie still went after her. Heather tried to break them up, but it was fruitless. Today was going to be a long day.
Mary defended Lisa, much to her surprise

Before everyone left, Bronwyn had a flashback of Todd warning her he didn’t want to hear it if she got into a fight with Lisa. So, she decided the best revenge would be to have fun, and that’s just what she did.
The crew loaded them up onto the tender and brought them ashore. What was odd, though, was the crew hadn’t set up the beach area for them ahead of time. They must be saving that drama for the BDDU episode instead.
Angie went up to Bronwyn and apologized for not being very supportive. Bronwyn was more upset she lost her temper with Lisa. But Angie thought she did the right thing. She advised Bronwyn to “be as stern as she was today,” and that would get Lisa to stop. Wishful thinking.
As half the group snorkeled, Lisa brought up her earlier conversation with Meredith to Mary. When Mary wondered if Lisa felt supported, Meredith sensed something was afoot and came over. She stood by her story that she defended Lisa. But Mary wasn’t a believer.
In her confessional, Mary said, “Lately, I do feel like Meredith doesn’t stick up for Lisa … And if Lisa’s really her friend, then Meredith should probably speak up and help her out … Can you believe I’m actually taking up for Lisa Barlow? God help me.”
And take up for her she did. She played mediator between them and told Meredith that Lisa didn’t feel supported. When Meredith snapped at her, Mary shot back. She said, “You’re not a good friend. Go jump in the ocean … I think you’re boring. Go find a good story you can tell because right now you’re a snooze.”
Britani dropped a bombshell on Meredith about Seth on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

Once they got back, Angie almost broke her finger. As the blood oozed out, Bronwyn marveled it was a perfect look for their zombie dinner.
And why zombies? Heather dished, “We love to dig up dirt on each other, and we love to resurrect old fights from the grave. We could be our own horror movie.” Cut to a grainy trailer for “The Real Zombies of the Yacht-Pocalypse” as the zombie housewives slowly lurched to the dinner table.
They each wore various weapons shoved through their heads, and the bloodwork was spot on. But the silliness ended once Bronwyn shared she called Todd and told him what had happened. She reminded Lisa her family was off limits. Lisa gave what seemed to be a genuine apology. This got golf claps and a “good job” from Mary.
Then Britani ran off to throw up. When she came back and took a shot, Meredith was horrified. However, what was more horrifying was the fact that she didn’t brush her teeth. Still, Meredith noted the behavior was odd.
Britani snarked she thought something was odd as well. Such as the news online about Seth having a mistress. Oh naur…
Meredith told Britani just because she was miserable with Jared didn’t mean she could come for her marriage. In her confessional, Meredith quipped, “Leave me alone. Leave my husband alone. Go focus on your own misery. Because you are a miserable b*tch.” Meredith was activated!
Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It can be streamed on Peacock.
