Stacey Rusch launched a cannabis brand. She made the announcement while filming Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Potomac. This comes after the former QVC host denied rumors that she was going into the wellness based industry at the reunion of the prior season.
Naturally, Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby were unsupportive. They also questioned Stacey’s timeline, with the sophomore RHOP star claiming she didn’t get started until months after the reunion. But despite all the negativity from her cast mates, Stacey is now announcing great success in her Virginia-based cannabis brand.
Stacey Rusch is the “first Black woman in the state of Virginia to have a cannabis brand”
“I don’t have anything to say to people who criticize my decision to talk about the launch of my brand in my own time,” Stacey told Bravo’s The Daily Dish. But seemingly she was addressing Ashley and Gizelle, who were skeptical when she made the announcement.
Stacey continued, “I think that reasonable people and people that have businesses understand the importance of timing. And when I was asked about my brand, I didn’t have it at the time. And now that I do, I’m very excited to share that.”
It’s a major personal achievement. But the success of Stacey’s cannabis brand has a broader meaning. The RHOP star is proudly representing a community.
“I mean, I’ve made history as the first Black woman in the state of Virginia to have a cannabis brand. I can’t be worried about other people. So I can only focus on myself and my success,” Stacey shared.
She added, “So, I don’t have a response to anyone who rushes greatness.”
The company is enjoying “phenomenal” performance in the industry. And Stacey reflected on the brand launch as “a beautiful moment.”
We are thriving in the state of Virginia,” she gushed.
The mother-of-one was drawn to the “wellness industry” from a desire “to help people.” Her clients include those, “who may suffer, for example, from anxiety; or people who are going through treatment and need help in terms of getting their appetite back; people who have certain personal issues but need a little help maintaining their anxiety or their stress level.”
