Wendy Osefo is thankful for the way her appearance on Wife Swap: Real Housewives Edition changed her. But the experience not only changed her; she claims it changed her marriage to her husband Eddie Osefo.
“It’s an experience of a lifetime,” the Real Housewives of Potomac star said. “It’s so interesting to see yourself through the lens of others. And it’s one of those experiences you can’t put a price tag on. I really enjoyed myself.”
Wendy and Eddie Osefo can “cocreate whatever we decide” after wife Swap

While Wendy manages her own family according to strict rules, a tight schedule and an emphasis on education, that all went out the window when she went to live with the Shapiro family.
Florida mom Alethea Shapiro supports fun, independence and a free-wheeling lack of rules. She has no problem with her kids playing basketball at 1 am.
Before Wife Swap, the Osefo home ran on Wendy’s rules. But all that has changed. After living with the Shapiro family, Wendy realized that she doesn’t have to make all the decisions.
“Eddie’s an amazing father and amazing husband,” she told Us Weekly. “He’s more than capable of being able to cocreate whatever we decide, and he’s really doing that a lot.”
Wendy and Eddie celebrated their 14th anniversary in August. They share three children together: Karter, 12, Kruz, 10, and Kamrynn, 6.
After living with the Shapiro family’s four kids, Wendy’s taken a more relaxed view of keeping house. These days, it’s more important to spend time with her kids rather than keeping a perfect house.
“Vacuuming every day? Who has time for that?” Wendy admitted. “I’m not doing that. Those things are just like, it’s OK if it doesn’t get done today or if it doesn’t get done this week.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo, streaming on Peacock the next day. Wife Swap: Real Housewives Edition is now streaming on Peacock.
