He’s certainly got the fans in a frenzy with his beautiful visuals and his take on an iconic role.

Oscar plays Victor Frankenstein in Guillermo del Toro’s newest gothic (Latin-inspired) film. The role was pitched to him over Cuban food in the director’s home, and Oscar played it to perfection. He added just enough madness and style to the role that left viewers swooning.
Fans on Reddit explained the attraction both to Oscar and to Dr. Frankenstein. Many commented that it was crazy how he got them lusting after Victor Frankenstein, while others said, “It’s the costumes. The slutty red scarf and the high collarbones. And the science, always the science.”
Another fan commented, “They specifically dressed him like Lord Byron, and I, a lover of Romantic poems, took notice. He was, in fact, the sex pot of his time, so this tracks.”
