Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Miami welcomed a new housewife, Stephanie Shojaee. She is a boss and has her own private plane. Plus, she works alongside her husband, Masoud Shojaee, and their partnership and marriage are firing on all cylinders.
However, Stephanie came in hot and didn’t hesitate to take on RHOM stars Alexia Nepola and Marysol Patton. Of course, these besties didn’t appreciate anyone standing up to them, so there was feuding off and on all season. Meanwhile, Stephanie was also dealing with a real-life family feud with her sisters. So, where does Stephanie stand with her twin siblings now?
Stephanie Shojaee says her sisters’ “upbringing” is the “real root of the problem”
Stephanie was a guest on Page Six Radio and shared an update about her complicated relationship with her sisters. The RHOM star explained how she is quick to anger and ready to forgive a few minutes later. “So, I pop off on you, and now you’re hurt,” Stephanie said. “And I think that’s kind of like what’s happened with my sisters, and unfortunately, to answer your question, it’s just, it’s nowhere.”
Then, Stephanie spilled what is at the heart of her estrangement from her sisters. “I actually never told anybody, but the real root of the problem is actually my parents,” Stephanie explained. “It’s our upbringing. I would’ve never guessed that.”
While this issue isn’t Stephanie’s fault, it reportedly caused friction with her sisters. She continued, “I just side very strongly with my parents. Very strongly. I had a very, very … my parents are still married.” Stephanie added, “I just grew up in a very strong, strict household, and I loved it, and they didn’t. And you know, I side with my parents.”
It’s a shame that Stephanie and her sisters can’t mend their relationship. Maybe we will see this family saga continue if Stephanie returns to RHOM next season.
The Real Housewives of Miami is streaming on Peacock.
