The Osefos were all smiles at BravoCon in Las Vegas this weekend, but their legal issues were heating up back at home. Real Housewives of Potomac star Wendy Osefo and her husband, Eddie Osefo, have both had their email accounts and bank records seized as part of their ongoing fraud case. It’s all leading up to their first day in court, and the investigators are trying to pull out all of the receipts — literally.
Wendy and Eddie Osefo also had their Instagram accounts seized by law enforcement

Wendy and Eddie were arrested on October 9 and charged with allegedly lying about a burglary that occurred at their home and then filing multiple insurance claims related to their “losses.” Their first court hearing was originally slated for earlier this month, but it has since been rescheduled to December 2.
According to a report from The Sun, the State’s Attorney’s Office has been busy gathering details in the days leading up to the court date. As Karen Huger once famously said, “It’s the discovery phase.”
Part of this phase included issuing search and seizure warrants. They were able to gain access to Wendy and Eddie’s Gmail accounts. As a reminder, the initial charging documents accused Eddie of emailing Wendy about their insurance plans following the “burglary.”
Additionally, investigators served Meta with a warrant to gain access to Wendy’s Instagram. Her account became a key piece in the charging documents when she uploaded a picture wearing the wedding ring that thieves supposedly stole.
Of course, they also had to dip into their bank records. Part of this case accuses the Osefos of filing insurance claims for high-end items they had already returned for refunds. Therefore, records from their accounts from Ally Bank, American Express, and Capital One were all seized. Additionally, luxury companies like Van Cleef, Louis Vuitton, Saks, and Ascot Diamonds were all listed as contributing to the discovery phase.
Meanwhile, at BravoCon, Wendy addressed the accusations against her and her husband. She called it an “unfortunate situation” and promised to share her side of the story when the timing is right.
Wendy said, “I will share my story with everyone. And for now, they’re just allegations. So we will continue to push forward.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac airs on Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo, along with next-day streaming on Peacock.
