Mary Cosby may have rallied for Britani Bateman recently. But that does not mean that she is good with the cabaret singer.
A recent cast trip ended in chaos as the majority of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast accused Meredith Marks of harassing Britani. Mary spoke to her longtime friend on behalf of Britani, and joined in on the luncheon meant to cheer the newbie RHOSLC star up.
However, the church minister was too upset about being called “the most un-Christlike person” by Britani during the charter. And she had a moral dilemma, as evidenced by next week’s episode sneak peek. Luckily, Mary’s dog was on hand to help her decide what to do.

In the sneak peek, Mary hosts a post-service luncheon. She had just reopened her church and given a powerful sermon. Britani is notably absent. So the mother-of-one explained why to the group. She also included an amusing anecdote about asking her dog, Donatello, whether she should have included Britani.
“So I invited you all, because this was an important day. And I felt like I needed a group around me, of, I feel like, real friendship. If you notice, there’s one that’s not here, which is Britani. And I did let her know why she wasn’t invited,” Mary told the group.
The clip cuts to a flashback of the conversation. Mary said to Britani over the phone, “I just want you know that I’m having my event today. And I did not invite you because you told me that I was the most ungodly person that you’ve ever met.”
Fans got to relive that moment on the yacht with yet another flashback. It then returns to Britani driving her car. She replied, “I meant that in the moment because I felt like you were super mean, and god wouldn’t be mean to people. But it was a really terrible thing to say and I’m sorry.”
Back at the luncheon, which included the infamous 2003 Dom Perignon, Mary told the ladies that Britani “did apologize” and “she meant it.” The apology was so sincere, that Mary considered inviting her after all.
She shared, “I looked at my dog and was like, ‘should I invite her?’ And I’m like, ‘give me a paw if I should just change my mind and invite her.'” It turns out that Donatello “didn’t give” his paw. “So she’s not here,” Mary concluded.
