Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Whitney Leavitt has been showing off her dancing skills. During Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars, she scorched the ballroom floor with her partner, Mark Ballas. The duo was considered frontrunners to take home the Mirrorball trophy.
However, the couple was eliminated during the DWTS semi-finals. They turned in great performances during the Prince-themed night, but didn’t receive enough fan votes to cha-cha into the finale. Still, Whitney is coming out a huge winner because she just nabbed a role on Broadway.
Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Whitney Leavitt will make her Broadway debut

PEOPLE reported that Whitney is stepping into the role of Roxie Hart in the beloved musical, Chicago. She will debut in the show on February 2, 2026, at New York City’s The Ambassador Theatre. Her six-week stint will conclude on March 15, 2026.
This will be the mom of three’s first professional stage engagement. However, she and Mark did bring Chicago into the ballroom during their Argentine Tango. They danced to the iconic song Cell Block Tango from the musical.
And Whitney isn’t the first recent DWTS contestant to jump into Roxie’s shoes. Season 32 DWTS finalist Ariana Madix also took on the role and slayed. So, will Whitney do the same?
Meanwhile, it was a bit surprising that Whitney didn’t make it to the DWTS finale. However, given some of the controversy surrounding her, maybe it wasn’t. There was gossip that she and Mark were favored by some of the judges. Plus, Whitney grinned, then covered her face, when her SLOMW co-star, Jen Affleck, was eliminated. So, it wasn’t a good look.
Now, Whitney has a chance to realize her entertainment dreams and shine on Broadway. With her dance and performance ability, she may give Ariana a run for her money. And good news, tickets for Chicago are now on sale!
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
