Shots fired! More details have emerged about the recent burglary attempt at Kathy Hilton’s house, and apparently, her husband, Rick Hilton, drew his gun to scare off the robbers. It all happened while the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was away at BravoCon, and the whole thing is starting to sound pretty scary.
Rick Hilton “got a shotgun out” when three burglars broke into his and Kathy’s home.
Kathy found herself among two RHOBH stars hit by home burglaries during BravoCon weekend. Thieves hit both Kathy and Sutton Stracke’s homes on the same day. Sutton said she lost almost all of her luxury handbags.
At the time, there were few details about what happened at Kathy’s. We just knew that Rick was home at the time of the incident. Now, Kathy has opened up about how it all went down and how her husband tried to defend their home.
“They came in, broke the glass, and it was raining, and our security guy was down at the guest house,” Kathy revealed in a recent interview with Extra.
Kathy said that Rick “got a shotgun out” and confronted three burglars. They kicked down the front door of their master bedroom. He reportedly yelled at them, “Get the f*ck out of here. The police are on their way.”
Kathy explained, “Then our [security] guy came up, they met, they ran out, and then [Rick] started shooting the gun out of his office in the air.”
That sounds like something straight out of a movie, and we imagine their ceiling is now loaded with shotgun holes. Either way, Kathy noted they’ve made some serious changes to their home security after the incident. She said if you touch anything, the whole house will go off. And Rick just might grab his shotgun.
