The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 2 reunion was hosted by Bachelor alum Nick Viall. And not everyone was a fan. In particular, Mormon wife Whitney Leavitt didn’t enjoy her time being grilled by Nick. That’s why, for Season 3, Jen Affleck was happy that Stassi Schroeder was taking over.
Stassi joined Lisa Vanderpump’s Hulu series, Vanderpump Villa, for the second season. Then she hopped into the role of host for the Season 2 Villa reunion. And Stassi did a fantastic job. It seems that most of the SLOMW cast were thrilled that Stassi would be in charge of their reunion.

When Nick hosted, he was laser-focused on getting answers to fans’ questions. Even if that created an uncomfortable moment. And Whitney didn’t enjoy being in the hot seat. “It’s so double standard,” Whitney told Nick at one point. She also added that she felt she was “being called out” repeatedly.
Well, Stassi brought the holiday spirit to the reunion. Before the reunion started, Stassi went backstage to greet the Mormon Wives. “I am so glad it is you because I know you are totally unbiased,” Jen told the Vanderpump Rules alum. “Thank you! Well, I have been in your shoes!” Stassi told Jen.
Of course, Stassi has experienced much of what these ladies are currently going through. She has dealt with criticism and online hate, dated very bad boys, and feuded with her Pump Rules friend group. So, having someone fun and fresh who related to their experiences made the MomTok members more relaxed.
However, don’t get it twisted. When it was time to move on from a subject that wasn’t being resolved, Stassi skillfully shut it down. She kept the SLOMW reunion moving. So, let’s raise a dirty soda and hope that Stassi is helming the Season 4 reunion.
