We’re 10 episodes into this season of The Real Housewives of Potomac, and Stacey is still fighting that uphill battle of making inroads with a group of women who have desperately tried to take her down.
Last week, we saw her come face-to-face with Monique after weeks of being accused of sleeping with her ex-husband. In The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 10 Episode 10, “Blunt Truths,” she confronted the person who started spreading those rumors in the first place.
What happened on The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 10 Episode 10?

With the Chris rumors somewhat put to rest, The Stacey Show continued as she launched her new cannabis line, Shayo. She hosted a sparsely attended, highly dramatic launch event to celebrate the big occasion. Elsewhere in the greater DMV area, Gizelle and Monique met up to have an honest conversation about Season 5. No binders needed. Plus, Ashley finally came out — as a gold digger.
Gossip and G-Wagons

It’s a shame that Wendy could be going to prison, because in Season 10, she’s doing a great job serving as Gizelle’s second in command. As a wise Housewife once said, “There’s a pecking order,” and Wendy has suddenly found herself near the top.
Episode 10 kicked off with her meeting up with Gizelle at a Mercedes-Benz dealership. Gizelle had her eyes on an electric G-Wagon, so they took one around the block for a test drive and debriefed on the latest shady happenings. The poor car salesman had to sit there and listen to all of it.
Of course, Stacey was their main topic of conversation. Gizelle said she was “taking a step back” from her after all of the drama at the Reasonably Shady party. She said she had “no energy” for her. That’s a little better than having negative energy, right?
Although Wendy has been an ally to Stacey, she admitted to Gizelle that she felt weird seeing her move forward with the cannabis line. Wendy acts like she invented marijuana, and she’s fully convinced that Stacey’s Shayo is a Happy Eddie cheater brand. She wound up spending the rest of her scenes in this episode doing borderline sponcon for Happy Eddie.
During the G-Wagon test drive, they also talked about Monique’s reintroduction to the group.
Underneath the surface, Gizelle still felt hesitant about having her back in the circle. You know she hasn’t looked at a binder the same way since Season 5. With that in mind, she told Wendy that they needed to have a good old-fashioned Housewives sit-down to address their complicated history.
Gizelle said, “If she’s going to be around, we need to clear the air.”
Gizelle and Monique revisit Season 5
Five years after Monique unleashed her binder of receipts on Gizelle, the two ladies met up for lunch and had one of the most honest conversations we’ve seen in Season 10. It’s usually a drag when Housewives revisit years-old drama, but this sitdown felt necessary.
Gizelle kicked things off, “Do I begin with, ‘Drag me, Monique?'”
Yes, actually! Monique took ownership of her harsh behavior back in Season 5. She said she’s been on a “healing journey” after her divorce from Chris, and it really allowed her to see the RHOP drama from a different perspective.
Gizelle seemed somewhat receptive to that. They also talked about Monique’s infamous fist fight with Candiace. Gizelle said she felt like Monique instigated it.
Five years ago, Monique probably would have dragged her. Season 10 Monique is a changed woman. She kept the conversation moving forward. She took ownership of her contributions to the toxic Season 5, and she’s ready to move forward with the group in a new way. Gizelle seemed surprised but relieved by the new Monique.
Like a miracle, the ladies heard each other’s perspectives on the past and agreed to move ahead with a fresh start. They hugged, and they left their luncheon with smiles on their faces. Bravo to that.
Ashley is on the hunt for gold

Watching Ashley in her post-divorce era is really something. Episode 10 gave us a deep look into her approach to dating. She’s looking for a man (or woman!) with money, and she’s not even trying to hide it anymore. She’s a certified gold digger.
It all came to the surface when she went on a date with the guy she’s been seeing, Josh Gudenburr, aka Temu Jack Harlow. They went to an arcade bar, and at first, it seemed like the date was going well. There were games, drinks, and appetizers. But Ashley had something else on her mind.
Seemingly out of nowhere, she brought up this guy’s finances, calling him out for not wining and dining her enough in their first year of dating. She said she wanted international trips. He only offered a flight to Pittsburgh.
In her confessional, Ashley explained that her ideal partner is someone who can take care of her financially. She doesn’t want someone who is on the same level as her, or heaven forbid, beneath her. She’s holding out for someone who can fly her around in private jets and dump millions into her bank account in the case of a divorce.
Temu Jack Harlow simply didn’t fit the bill, so she literally dumped him before their food even arrived. Dumped, accused of being poor, and you have to leave hungry? A nightmare date.
As we learn later in the episode, Ashley’s eagerness to find a wealthy man extends beyond just her own material desires. She financially supports a lot of her family, so she needs someone who can help. There are a lot of people relying on Ashley, and she’s relying on finding a man to keep things moving.
Shayo with a side of shade

In Episode 10, Stacey officially launched Shayo, her widely discussed cannabis line. With the launch, she became the first Black woman in Virginia to own a cannabis line, and it all happened on Juneteenth. She hosted an event at her local Beyond Hello to celebrate both occasions. Three cast members showed up: Tia, Ashley, and Jassi.
Ashley called her appearance at the event a “show of good faith.” Still, Stacey had to hold her feet to the fire. She pulled her into the middle of the sales floor at the dispensary and confronted her about the season full of attacks. From the TJ contract to the Chris rumors and the halitosis accusations, Stacey had to put her foot down.
“It needs to stop,” Stacey told Ashley.
Despite being there in “good faith,” Ashley told Stacey that it felt challenging to navigate a friendship with someone who acts like a “lying ass hoe.” Meanwhile, Jassi, Tia, and the Beyond Hello staff were all awkwardly standing within earshot.
Eventually, they did come to somewhat of a truce, hilariously talking over each other about their demands. Ashley wants Stacey to stop lying. Stacey pleaded for an end to the “hazing” and the “evil.” We’ll see who breaks the truce first.
Tia gets tossed out of the dispensary

After fighting on the dispensary sales floor, the ladies wandered into what looked like the employee break room. They had refreshments, Juneteenth signage, and all of the makings for a nice celebration. Within minutes, Stacey wound up getting into a huge argument with Tia.
Their issues stem back to Tia’s botched dinner invite to Thiemo. Tia felt like she caught Stacey in a lie when Thiemo said he was flying out of town the day of the dinner. Stacey later said he was flying into town that day.
It’s not really the “gotcha” moment Tia seems to think that it is. However, she’s standing ten toes down on this because, like most of the women on this cast, she has nothing else noteworthy to talk about.
At the dispensary, Tia admitted to Stacey that she’s being hard on her because of what she heard from the other women before joining the group. Cut to a flashback of Gizelle telling Tia that Stacey “lies a lot.”
According to Tia, she tried to give Stacey the benefit of the doubt before turning her back on her. Stacey felt like Tia just wanted to “fit in” with the group. After all, there’s a pecking order, and Gizelle did bring her into the fold.
“You are the person that has been in this group for one year, and you still don’t f*cking fit in,” Tia said to Stacey. “What does that say about you, my love?”
Cussing at the Shayo event? Stacey was over it. She told Tia to leave and unlocked her next great meme as the credits began to roll on Episode 10.
Stacey told Tia, “Take your things, and be gone. Toodle-doo!”
The Real Housewives of Potomac continues on Bravo every Sunday at 8/7c, and you can stream it the next day on Peacock.
