More intricacies of Bronwyn Newport’s marriage to Todd Bradley are coming to light. In the previous season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, the fashionista admitted to infidelity on her husband’s part. In Season 6, she and Whitney Rose talked older husbands and open marriage after Todd was caught looking at photos of other women while on a flight.
Pushing the hurt aside, the couple sat down to discuss the situation. Bronwyn offered some sort of marital arrangement, with the details yet to be confirmed. But Todd’s willingness to speak about it, and on camera, is probably the most shocking of all. And the RHOSLC favorite reflected on the conversation during a recent interview.
Bronwyn Newport seemed open to an open marriage
Bronwyn referred to the conversation with Whitney when she alleged she would “try” an open marriage. She admitted it was a difficult scene for Todd to watch, especially given his lack of trust towards the other ladies.
“Well, he knew before he saw it, obviously. We talked in the interim,” Bronwyn explained during Peacock’s Sunday Night Football: Reality Hot Seat over the weekend. “I think it was really hard for him to watch.”
“I mean, I might get benched for a season; I might get traded to another team. He knows, obviously, it’s our marriage, we have conversations about it. I think it really shocked him,” she explained the situation, likening it to the sport in question.
Todd has a particular distrust towards Lisa Barlow. But he prefers Bronwyn not disclose their personal issues to anyone on the RHOSLC cast.
Bronwyn concluded, “I spoke to Whitney about it … That might have felt like I was giving the other team our playbook. So I might have been in trouble for that.”
During Season 6, Episode 10, Bronwyn confirmed she’s “as open to whatever” that would strengthen the marriage. She added, “If you wanted to do something different or have an arrangement or be open or whatever else, I would consider it. I would do whatever I needed to do to evolve with you.”
