For years, fans slammed Kyle Richards for not mentioning it all on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. During her separation from Mauricio Umansky, Kyle refused to entertain the word “divorce,” all while dodging claims that her man might have a problem with a little thing called monogamy. Then, Kyle remained discreet about her first post-separation relationship. However, these tides are thankfully now changing. And as Kyle recently explained, this new romance sadly failed to thrive.
Kyle is still “on good terms” with her ex

This season on RHOBH, Kyle is bravely allowing herself the grace to step into her truth. However, as evidenced in Season 15 Episode 2, Kyle is still protecting her alleged first post-split beau, Morgan Wade, by keeping her name out of the conversation. Regardless, fans definitely implied that Morgan is indeed the subject of Kyle’s first televised confession.
As Kyle finally admitted, “Since separating from Mau, I was in a relationship. I was in a very vulnerable place in my life, and I fell hard for this person.” But then, the flipside of the coin arrived. Since her love was a very private person, their relationship quickly fell apart.
“When I’m in love with somebody, I want to share that. I’m an open person like that. But that doesn’t mean the person I’m with feels the same way,” Kyle confessed. Several beats later, Kyle appeared on the RHOBH After Show, where she further stressed that their “lifestyles” conflicted.
But then, Kyle dropped her bomb, which definitely fingers Morgan as her first post-split love. As Kyle admitted, “All the speculation and the gossip and the talking is what ultimately ended it. I could’ve weathered the storm, but this is not for everyone.” When pressed about reconciling with this unnamed ex, Kyle suggests, “a lot would have to change” first.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock, or Hayu in Canada, the UK and Ireland.
