RHOSLC’s Mary Cosby Responds To Shocking TLC Documentary About Church

If you haven’t been tuning in, Mary Cosby is sitting in the hot seat right now. And it’s not for her antics on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. But rather, all eyes are on her personal life as a pastor at Faith Temple Pentecostal Church.

TLC recently released a series called The Cult of the Real Housewife. With Mary as the subject, former members of her church haul allegations at her for three episodes straight. From an alleged affair with someone in the congregation to pressuring members to give more than their means, it is a bombshell of a show. Mary has quickly been hit with backlash and now, she’s addressed it head-on.

Mary warns fans: “Don’t believe the lies”

Mary recently took to social media and posted a video of herself enjoying moments with her Bravo family. She took this opportunity to write out hashtags seemingly responding to the TLC series.

“#godfirst #love #you #blessed #don’t believe the lies. Happy Sunday,” she captioned the January 4 post.

It seems like this is the only response we will get from her for a while. After all, Season 6 of RHOSLC was filmed long before the cult series was announced. And, the reunion special was filmed a week before the show’s premiere.

Since neither her co-stars nor Andy Cohen have an opportunity to call her out on-screen, it’s up to Mary to face the news herself.

Meanwhile, there’s been some rumors regarding RHOSLC Season 7. With the idea of a major cast shakeup, will these allegations get Mary taken off the show? Only time will tell.

The Cult of The Real Housewife is streaming on HBO Max and Discovery+, while The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs on Bravo, every Tuesday at 8/7c.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK THAT MARY SHOULD GIVE A MORE EXTENSIVE RESPONSE TO THE SERIES?
