We’ve been following the rollercoaster separation between Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky since 2023, and now the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple has taken us for another spin.
He has spent the last few years making out with models all over the world, and she’s been quietly dating, too. But over the holiday season, they were spotted all over each other at multiple events. The public displays of affection had fans thinking that there was possibly a reconciliation in store for 2026. However, a new insider revealed that’s not quite the case.
Kyle and Mauricio are not “rekindling their romance,” says a source
Although Kyle and Mau were spotted together at holiday parties last month, an insider spoke to Us Weekly and confirmed that the pair aren’t getting back together. They’re amicable, but not romantic.
“They are not getting back together or rekindling their romance,” the source bluntly told the outlet.
According to the insider, Kyle and Mau have been focused on “maintaining normalcy” in front of their daughters. They share three daughters, and they wanted to make sure they could all spend the holiday season together.
“The girls aren’t pushing [a romantic reunion] either,” the source added. “Of course, it would be great if they called off their separation, but the family knows it’s most likely not going to happen.”
For now, Kyle and Mau are just friends. That means Mau is free to make out with models in Aspen all year long. Kyle can continue to date, all while keeping it off of RHOBH.
“They are genuinely friends right now and still have so much fun together,” the insider continued. “They have been loving towards one another, but that doesn’t mean they are getting back together.”
