Austen Kroll had a good run of it with Audrey Pratt. The notorious playboy of Southern Charm dated his former girlfriend since December 2023. And they ended matters just shy of the two year mark.
Nowadays, the Bravolebrity is happily single. But he’s hardly short of options. His co-star, Salley Carson, already made her interests known. And Austen hit it off with The Real Housewives of Miami star Kiki Barth during BravoCon 2025. It’s hard to keep the Southern Charm star on his toes. And he reflected on his dating habits during a recent podcast interview.
Austen admitted his longest relationship is actually not that long at all
Austen appeared on the January 7 episode of The Viall Files to discuss his “longest relationship.” The Southern Charm star admittedly has a fear of settling down and “commitment.” Once the topic of the next steps come up, he’s out.
“It’s been capped at like, a year and a half, two years,” he dished. “It’s not nothing.”
The TropHop founder added, “It just gets to the point for me — not to sound, you know — but, forever. [It’s a] big, long scary term.”
However, Austen admitted to personal growth during the time that he was with Audrey. But it wasn’t enough to keep him from distractions.
“I’ll tell you that since I’ve been out of a relationship with my most recent girlfriend, I far better like the person that I was when I was in a relationship. I liked that person. That person was focused on the right things and then being out of it, you know, I find myself easily distracted by the wrong things,” he told host Nick Viall.
“Salley and I grow close and we are close now,” Austen explained. “But no, we’re not dating or anything like that. I really, really like where me and Salley are. And you’re going to see all of that because, as we just said, Salley’s not shy about talking about her feelings. So she certainly lays them out there.”
