Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Potomac featured the return of a controversial cast member. Monique Samuels returned as a friend of the cast. She had been absent since Season 5 of RHOP.
That infamous season featured a disturbing physical altercation between Monique and Candiace Dillard Bassett. Monique departed after that messy season, and Candiace exited after Season 8. So, while Monique is showing off a new side to herself on RHOP, Candiace is skulking around a castle in Season 4 of The Traitors. Everybody wins! Meanwhile, Monique is calling out a cast member, and her marriage.
Angel Massie defended her marriage to Bobby on the RHOP After Show
As you may recall, Monique and Chris Samuels finalized their divorce in 2023. Recently, during an episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac After Show, Monique called out Angel Massie’s marriage to Bobby Massie. “When I first met her, I could see a lot of me in her situation. I was more so, like, ‘Hey, if she is going through what I went through, let me be that person that I wish I had,'” Monique explained.
One issue that upset Monique was when Angel said that she had “to check in with Bobby” and see if he was fine with “watching the kids” so Angel could stay overnight at a pajama party. For Monique, that was a waving “red flag.” She stated, “So, I just felt it was like I need to say something. Whether she receives it or not, I need to say something, just to make sure she’s good.”
However, Angel did not accept Monique’s concerns. “They made it an issue that I said that I needed to talk to my husband about changing our schedule, which is what you do in a marriage,” Angel stated. “It was disrespectful to my family.” Of course, Angel was already the target of some shady comments because of her Airbnb rental snafu.
