Season 10 of Summer House is just around the corner. And according to the trailer, Kyle Cooke’s marital issues with Amanda Batula will be front and center. While Amanda wanted Kyle to settle down and stop partying like a frat boy, he instead pursued his DJ side hustle.
In the Summer House trailer, Amanda claimed that Kyle crashed at a fan’s house one night and didn’t come home. Yikes! This former couple had plenty of highs and lows in their marriage, but it’s apparent they were trending downwards. Meanwhile, rumors swirled that Amanda and Kyle weren’t even living together.
Kyle Cooke called his upcoming divorce from Amanda Batula the “worst kept secret”
The former couple announced their split via their social media accounts. “After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” Amanda and Kyle’s statement read. For most Summer House fans, the news wasn’t a shock.
Recently, Adam Glyn, who hosts the Hollywood Raw podcast, chatted with Kyle on the street. He shared the video via TikTok. “I think people will be surprised but also happy to see that Amanda and I are in a good spot,” Kyle stated. “Obviously, the internet’s gonna do its thing, but you know, we literally pushed send together,” he added, referencing their statement.
Kyle continued, “It’s a lot to swallow when your entire relationship from the very, very beginning is on TV. So we knew it wasn’t gonna be easy.” He added, “There’s still a lot of love” between him and Amanda. As for their living situation?
“We have separated. It started as, like, living separately,” Kyle admitted. He acknowledged that fans “picked up” that the former couple was living apart. “It was like the worst-kept secret, but we just weren’t ready to talk about it,” Kyle said. He added, “This isn’t like a big breakup where there’s a smoking gun, and there’s a lot of hate … We got each other’s back.”
Summer House Season 10 premieres on February 3 at 8/7c on Bravo. The show streams next-day on Peacock.
