There was much to discuss when Summer House OG Kyle Cooke stopped by the Watch What Happens Live clubhouse this week. He’s in the middle of a divorce, but rumors have been swirling that he’s been getting cozy with Salley Carson from Southern Charm. You know Andy Cohen had to get to the bottom of it.
Is Kyle dating a Southern Charm star after splitting from Amanda Batula?
The rumors about Kyle and Salley first started last month, when an anonymous tipster claimed to have seen the two getting cozy after the Summer House Season 10 premiere party. Supposedly, she was in New York City around that same time to film the Southern Charm reunion.
If Kyle started dating Salley, that would certainly make for a juicy storyline. Can you imagine seeing Salley pop in and out of the Summer House spinoff, In The City? Unfortunately for all of us messy fans who want to see that happen, Kyle clarified on Watch What Happens Live that there’s nothing spicy going on between him and Salley. At least not yet.
“We were out with multiple friends at a dive bar. This was not like a date situation, just having fun,” Kyle explained. “But she’s a good girl.”
That’s fine and dandy, but Andy tried to trip him up with a follow-up question. He asked, “Good kisser?”
Kyle didn’t take the bait, and it really seems like he and Salley are just friends. However, he did dish about another Bravo-adjacent crush. He just started Season 4 of The Traitors, and he’s really liking what he sees in Maura Higgins.
“She’s beautiful,” Kyle gushed. “I just started Traitors, and I’m like, ‘Wow.’”
