Real Housewives of Orange County star Gretchen Rossi came, went, returned, and now, she’s leaving filming once again. Unfortunately, for Gretchen, the cast list for Season 20 recently landed in one particular outlet’s inbox. And, as many likely expected, her name was not attached.
As a reminder, neither was Katie Ginella’s. But Katie has already spoken out about her lame firing. And as we channel our inner Pretty Woman here, all we can say is, “Big mistake [Bravo]. Big. Huge.”

According to Variety, the cast list for RHOC Season 20 will look boringly the same, minus Katie. This means that Tamra Judge, Heather Dubrow, Shannon Storms Beador, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, and Jennifer Pedranti will once again grace our screens. However, Gretchen was noticeably absent from this list.
Gretchen returned in Season 19 as a part-time friend. Yet, she seemed to have a full-time agenda to call out Tamra. So, fans had to spend an entire season revisiting the “Naked Wasted” Season 4 storyline, which featured a lot of she-said, but she-denied types of conversations. It was frustrating for all parties involved.
And then we learned that Gretchen was out there liking harmful anti-LGBTQ rhetoric online, a claim that she profusely denied. Then, when her denials failed to stick, she tried to dodge this narrative using a different tactic, complete with an expensive cyber report to help prove her innocence. But unfortunately, this route also failed. Therefore, according to Variety, Gretchen is also failing to keep her orange ahead of Season 20.
As of now, Gretchen hasn’t publicly spoken about this matter. But never fear, Slade Smiley will likely chime in shortly on her behalf.
