Reactions are still pouring in over Jill Zarin’s since-deleted video bashing Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance. The former cast of The Real Housewives of New York are working overtime to distance themselves from her comments, and that includes Dorinda Medley.
Although Dorinda isn’t a part of Jill’s upcoming RHONY spinoff, The Golden Life, she still took time to clarify her stance on the Bad Bunny situation. She made herself very clear. She doesn’t agree with a single thing Jill said.
Dorinda Medley says Bad Bunny “created hope” at the 2026 Super Bowl
In Jill’s since-deleted video, she called Bad Bunny’s halftime performance a “shame” and the “worst” performance in the NFL’s history. She also complained that it was primarily in Spanish and claimed that the lack of white representation made it feel like a political statement.
Jill tried to wipe the video from the internet, but the Bravoverse has united to drag her for sharing it in the first place. Dorinda took a moment to address the controversy during the February 9 episode of SiriusXM’s Reality Checked per Bye Wig Hello Drama on Twitter.
Dorinda said, “We walk through this world right now, which can be very dark. It was a moment of incredible hope for me. I was like, ‘Oh my god. This is beautiful.’”
“So proud of Bad Bunny for doing this. Music incredible,” Dorinda continued. “And then today we woke up to Jill Zarin giving her opinion on it.”
Dorinda felt like Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show reflected “hope, love, and unity,” so she had a hard time wrapping her head around Jill’s negative feedback. She made it clear that she disagreed with “absolutely everything” Jill said.
“I don’t know how you can walk away from what we had the luxury and the honor of witnessing yesterday at the Super Bowl and the effect that it probably had on so many people, especially people that are frightened right now, that are faltered right now. He created hope, and I felt it,” Dorinda shared.
She continued, “I felt sentimental about that Super Bowl halftime.”
Dorinda admitted that she doesn’t normally wade into political conversations, especially not on her radio show. However, she felt compelled to speak out this time.
“I do not agree with any of it,” Dorinda reiterated. “I am horrified by it.”
