The View Hosts Question Young People’s Sex Lives

Fornication may not be at the forefront of the minds of today’s young generation. A new study suggests that young people are having less sex than ever. That finding comes as a massive shock to the panellists on The View.

The famed daytime program weighed in on that survey on Friday’s Hot Topics segment. The data released says that since 2010 there has been a decrease in sexual activity for people 18-29. The hosts find that hard to believe given the popularity of one TV show.

Heated Rivalry apparently has everybody “horny as hell”

The actors in Heated Rivalry don’t seem to have a problem hopping into bed with someone. That, however, doesn’t mean younger demographics are eager to do the same. On Friday’s edition of The View, they weighed in on that study. “At the same time that people aren’t having sex, everybody is horny as hell watching ‘Heated Rivalry?” questioned Ana Navarro.

Heated Rivalry focuses on two closeted hockey players who have an intimate relationship despite playing for rival teams. Sunny Hostin could not believe the study’s findings either. She says that in her college days, everybody was messing around with everybody. Sunny wondered if today’s generation are “just on their phones.”  Host Joy Behar confessed that she’s a little obsessed with her phone.

Heated Rivalry has been a massive success and a show everybody’s been talking about. In January, a professional hockey player was inspired to come out as gay upon seeing the first season. Jesse Korteum currently plays for the Cutting Edges, a hockey team based in Vancouver, Canada.

The show’s cast are now ultra-famous, with many of them appearing on prominent late-night talk shows. A second season has already been confirmed.
